The Van Halen tribute band BOTTOM'S UP...anybody hear of 'em or seen 'em nah nah..Wel

I saw this Van Halen tribute way back in the late 90's in the Missouri country nah in some ol' juke joint waterin' hole...and they were AWESOME!! They kicked off with "Atomic Punk" and proceeded to rock the house down to the old proverbial foundation! The lead singer was a little on the heavy side...his mojo dojo karate kicks were more like the aerobics scene in,"Just A Gigalo."

The guitar player said they were from Iowa...and I'm not sure if he knew that he was in Missouri anyway...
ASHES TO ASHES...DUST TO DUST...IF THE WOMEN DON'T GET YA, THE WHISKEY MUST!!...

"I used to play the blues alone in all the local joints," he explained. 'The only thing that I can really play on guitar to this day is the blues. I heard Doc Watson and his son playing 15 years ago, and from there I got into Leadbelly and John Lee Hooker."--DLR

If you pay attention -- what I sing, the guitar sings, too, and what the guitar says, I say.--Mississippi Fred McDowell

The lead singer had the Roth howlin' the blues scream/Mack Daddy vibe down to the t...the bass player was a goon who kept throwin' in Chili Peps riffs 'tween tunes...the guitar player looked more like Vai with less teeth and he could kick out the Eddie riffs...the band was incredible...I couldn't beleve they didn't play,"Bottom's Up," though...the drummer played a better solo than ol' Al...without the Spanish bit...or the
