Default My 4-year old is playing T-Ball

Organized Chaos! It is so much fun to watch. I don't know how the coaches get them to stand where they are supposed to stand, or do what they are supposed to do, but they do it. I'm still trying to figure out if my boy likes it....he looks forward to going, but he also looks very serious when he is out there. Anyone out there have their kids in sports? It's a ball.
We did the whole put the baseball glove under his matress to break it in...fun stuff.

Watching your kids play sports is some of the proudest moments you can have as a parent.

I have watched my now 15 yr old grow, and become a good ballplayer. He goes for high school ball next year.

I have a 6 yr. old that I think wants to try. We'll see about him.

Watching 4 year olds play T-ball is hilarious. Once the ball is hit, EVERYONE runs for the ball, then EVERYONE runs after the runner, who doesn't always stay in the basepaths. Quite amusing.

Enjoy! It's a wonderful time in your lives.

My youngest is now out of t-ball and my oldest just finished playing summer ball.

I can't wait! My boy just turned 2 on Juy 4th, so we have a couple of years yet. He already shows a promising arm, especially if there's something breakable in his range

It's all good, enjoy these days!

i am the head coach of both of my daughters' teams (one coach pitch and one tee-ball). it is one of the most fulfilling things i've ever done. this being my third year, i'm getting better at it. at first, i had no idea what i was in for. i remember developing a preliminary practice agenda for the first time. it included things like catching fly balls, taking grounders, etc. then i learned that when they are that young you have to start way more simple than that by working on things like how to run on and off the field, where to stand and how to shake hand after the game.

i approach with a simple goal: keep them interested enough to play next year. with more diverse and more exciting sports being created everyday, baseball will inevitably get less and less popular (as it has already). being the purist of baseball fans (no dh, etc...) i hate to see that happen.

    out.

When I was 4 or 5, I used to play soccer and, to put it lightly, I was terrible. I'd run to the other side when I was supposed to be just standing on the other side and, oh yeah, I did cartwheels all over the place, too (I also was a cheerleader on the training league at my sister's school and took gymnastics). All of those got me kicked out of alot of games.
So you broke down, trying to leave town, I broke down crying on your return. You left me feeling hopeful, I'll never see your face again. You made for a bad lover's liver. You stole all the covers and busted my head. You made me such an asshole, I wish we'd never met. I'm tired of being bored. I'm through with the headaches. Hiding my hands that tremble like earthquakes. Under the table, under the daytime sky, Good Fucking Bye- Good Fucking Bye, Alkaline Trio

Right now my 4 year old is way into Monster Trucks. He builds race courses for them in the dirt in the back yard and plays games on the computer. His favorite is Grave Digger. My 7 year old just loves to do anything with his dad. Mostly its play catch and lately swimming in the pool. By the way the 4 year old has been that way since he was 2. Oh yeah and he loves looking at women in thongs! Before you ask they are usually in Fredricks and Victoria secret Catalogs.
I used to jog but the ice cubes kept falling out of my glass.
