    Default New Robert Plant Rocks..

This guy is a class act and so is his new CD. I could listen to it for hours. This guy still has it. I wish he was coming to Cleveland. Very very cool mellow hippyish bad ass music! If you haven't heard it, check it out. Very very classic.

His new band, the Strange Sensation are killer.

When you see Plant live enjoy Skin's intro to Whole Lotta Love. It's mental.

I couldn't agree more. This is one of the best albums I've bought this year and the best Plant by far. I saw the Boston and Providence shows last week from first row and they were incredible. A great band. They played most of the new album and Black Dog, Heartbreaker, Gallows, Levee, Whole Lotta Love and they've since added Babe I'm Gonna Leave You and Tangerine. Rumour has it that a very special guest guitarist will be making a one time appearance at the Vegas show.

I thought Fate of Nations had some good stuff on it but Mighty Rearranger is the best Zep related effort since Physical Graffiti, IMHO.

Can't go wrong with Mr. Plant.

He's a classy guy and great singer.

I haven't heard his latest but will have to check it out this weekend.

I tend to favor Principle of Moments for some reason.

Mighty Rearranger is definitely one of the best albums of 2005!
I was hoping to see Robert Plant live this year, but unfortunately he only did one show over here.

    Default Robert Plant

I recentley grabbed the new disc from Robert Plant and his new band.
    Fantastic from start to finish.
He really still has most of his voice left, and he doesn't try to push it to where he was 35 years ago.
He seems to know his place, and he's still out creating great music.
It's nice to see, and hear.
The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over.

This next part could really confuse things. Let's stay focused. #asis

When Plant first started to release solo material, I didn't really care for it. But as I have aged, and gave some of it a second listen, I kinda can relate to the more mellow mood he was producing. Fate of Nations is one of my favorites. Especially a tune called The Greatest Gift.

    Default Even better live....

I caught him at his Toronto show (hoping to find a copy on audio or video somewhere soon) and it was incredible....finally got to see the legend on stage and his voice is still awesome...

The way they reworked classics like Black Dog, Gallows Pole and Whole Lotta Love was awesome...like hearing the classic's trademark riffs in a totally different and addictive arrangement.......

Yep, I'm gettin' old but it was still some great rock and roll hehe...

Yes, I agree. In fact, I would say Plant's voice is better now than has been at any time since around 1974. He doesn't have nearly the range he had in the early Zep days, but he still sounds great!

He hasn't yet come to any cities close enough for me to see him (except Nashville and I was in the Bahamas that week). I did hear one of his concerts on the BBC and it was fantastic.

Listened to it a few times. Got a real earthy sound to it. Its one of those albums you listen to when you're at home by yourself, on a cold night - very moody.
