Nice to see that Whitesnake isn't doing so bad too. Recently i found myself very fond of Mr. Coverdale's tunes.

I saw def leppard on their recent minor league stadium tour here in San Jose. They actually had the crowd the whole show. It was pretty good to see them out there again with the fans really into it.

I heard that, of the 864 tickets sold, 200 were "Comp" tickets, purchased by DLR's manager, in an attempt to fudge attendacne numbers.

Also, my buddy was at the show, he said that the bar stools in the back of the club were tarped off.

Rumor has is DLR is getting a guaranteed $750K per show, so the promoters are getting totally fucked on this tour.

Becasuse of the horrible attendance numbers, I am not sure this tour will continue much longer.

And, Dave's guitarist, seemed to drunk that night, really fucking up the solo to Unchained and at one point Dave sang, "Here's to your thin red line...I'm crossing over..."

Not crossing, stepping....man that pisses me off, really turns me off from hearing his band do VH tunes.

For those who don't get the sarcasm in the above post, ......those were all criticisms and statements made about VH's '04 tour.
Actually I think most of us are Dave, Sam, and Mike fans. There's just a small group of people who have strange allegiances and like to get into petty pissing contests that I can't believe everyone on this site isn't bored of. - Brett

I saw Def Leppard and Byan Adams in Portland, Oregon while in town on business and they both put on a good show.
I think part of the problem with the classis artist is that they don't do the little things on the PR side - local radio, meet & greet outside of the arenas they are performing in. As for local radio - they spend more time trying to find the next big thing while their audience keeps shrinking. Who has the bucks - the baby boomers!

864, OUCH!!! Roth with VH would get 864 in the first couple of rows.

Def Leppard seems to be doing pretty well.

How the hell did this show even take place and not be cancelled?? If that number is correct, that is even beyond embarrasing.

wait to the Boragta #'s are released...I was at both shows, I thought DE had way more people than the AC show. I don't know about the comp in DE, but I talked to Borgata staff peeps and they said they were handing them out like candy.

My GOD are those awful numbers. VH with Dave now is a mistake, and I hope that even Ed can realize that.

You'll get a totally different spin on DLR's numbers at the Army. They say it was packed and that the 864 was just the paid attendance.....whatever that means.

Well, if you take the $30,240 and divide it by the 864 attendance number, you'll get $35 bucks, which is/was the stated ticket price for the show...
