    Default mulitple VH CD purchases??

Curious to know how many of you out there have bought the same VH CD multiple times??.

In my quest to introduce as many people to VH by lending the odd CD...I found my self needed to re-purchase CD's due to people not returning them!...I think I've bought VH1 at least 4-5 times now!...starting to feel like the friggen Australian VH father Christmas!

    ...it's a noble cause I guess.

I purchased every VH (Except 3 and BOBW) on cassette and then replaced them all on CD. I don't think I've doubled up on CDs though. VH1 I had given to me as a present on vinyl (which I already had), so I've got that album twice on Vinyl, on cassette and on CD. If they did a really good job of the remasters with bonus tracks etc I'm sure I'd buy them all again.

So far, the only VH cds I've bought twice are the six pack ... because they were remastered.

I have bought the remastered 6 pack (after already owning the originals on CD) and will be buying F.U.C.K. and 5150 because Sammy signed them for me a few days before the Tahoe Wabo grand opening when we (KRNV Channel 4) went up there to do a story on it. I have 5150 in my car and have been blasting it because it's July. I remember getting that tape for my birthday (July 17th) when I turned 13 from my sister. Fond memories indeed!!! I don't want anything to happen to those CD covers that are signed so I'll just retire the whole case, cover, and CD together and buy replacements....hopefully the remastered ones if they ever come out!!!

I've bought every VH CD once except the the first six twice (remasters). I handed my originals down to my younger cousin in hopes that he'd listen to them. I don't think he has.

i've bought 5150 several times...first time was when it came out, the tape got stolen from the stereo at a house party, second time, my roommate in the Marines borrowed it and lost it, third, college roommate's car stereo ate it, and fourth time i got it on cd and still resides happily in my truck, where it gets played at least once every few days.

I'm embarassed to admit this...Though I owned the entire VH library on cassette (pre 95), and later bought all the disks, for some reason, I didn't buy WACF on disk until about two years ago. The great thing was it was like listening to new Van Halen because it had been so long for me...

Did anyone else have the cassette that was WACF on one side and Fair Warning on the other?

Besides going from cassette to CDs, the only dups were a couple of the remasters.

I STILL have that cassette! It's a sentimental piece for me now beacuse my brother bought it for me WAY back in the day...

I've bought 5150 more times than I can remember and I still have all of them on cassette up to FUCK and quite a few of them on vinyl. I also bought the regular AND collector's version of III, bought 3 or 4 copies of BOBW, and two copies of BOV1...all for various reasons that I don't have the energy to explain here...

I bought the first six twice, though in a slightly different manner than the rest. I bought the first album when it was issued on gold disc by DCC Compact Classics in 1998. Like all of their gold discs, this was mastered by Steve Hoffman and it's the best-sounding VH to be pressed on CD. DCC went out of business in 2000-01, so this disc is long out-of-print.

I picked up the remaining five when the remasters came out in 2000.
