    The Shins

Took me a while to actually get into this band. But I really do enjoy a lot of their songs. Probably the most recent band that I can really get into.

    Any opinions?
    Respects.

I didn't like 'em the first time I heard 'em. They grew on me and I now I love 'em!

Both of their albums are excellent. I just bought Oh, Inverted World last week and I think it's their best one.

    Default The Shins on SNL

Just wondering if anyone watched them on SNL this week. I've never heard them before and thought they were great. The guy singing really has a good voice and kinda reminds me of Jackson Browne.

And Kevin Spacey reminds me of Keyser Söze.

I have realized I don't add anything useful to conversations anymore.

New album comes out next Tuesday. It's OK but not as good as their other stuff; it's strangely upbeat and happy. Then again, their other stuff took a while to grow on me. They're definitely not a band you hear the first time and go "Wow!" You have to be in the right mood and then it just kind of hits you.
