Default Have any of you had experience with these guys?

    http://www.monsterguitarshop.com/index.html

I just found their site today and I have to say that I am very impressed. Even though their options on necks and bodies are a bit dis organized, im more impressed with their work. When I found out that they do 84 baretta non-tilt headstocks, I about shit myself and then when I found out they do 5150 heads, I just lost it. If you go to the photo gallery, you will see a body that is cut like the EVH EBMM. Even down to where the toggle switch is, they got it perfect. Their 5150 bodies seem kinda iffy but im more intrested in their necks more than anything.

I sent them an e-mail asking for a quote on a all birdseye 5150 neck with 12" radius, R2 locking nut, EVH EBMM back profile, gibson frets, and skunk stripe would be but so far no responce.

We may just have to remember these guys.

    I'm just curious ...
Why would you want to buy a body for a Shark guitar project when the original guitar was a set-neck?

Wouldn't, say an Epi Explorer make a better basis for a more accurate replica?

the idea is I make a guitar with special specs from my favorite players. The body style has EVH written all over it.

But you have to remember that when ed cut out the chunk from the shark, he lost A LOT of the tone. I wonder if there would be a way to cut it out without loosing the tone?

I know, i was just providing the fact that somepeople love the tone of a charvel star, and that has a cut out behind the bridge also.

    Like this one -

thats chris holmes's (of WASP), Star. He uses that thing regularly and gets GREAT tone.
