Default EVH Joke Cartoon in UK Classic Rock Mag

Don't know whether any other UK fans have spotted this, but the cartoon below is located on p.121 of the current July 2005 issue of the UK's "Classic Rock" magazine. I'm not too sure how funny it actually is; what do you think?

I'm not offended by it; it's just not funny.

The concept isn't bad - if you're not opposed to talking tumors. I usually enjoy sick humor like that. But again, not funny.

And what's with cartoonists and fingers? Why can't they ever get the number of digits right?

That's not really funny at all.
Sammy did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it.
Michael did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it.

Q: who was the biggest douche that you have worked with?

A: Eddie Van Halen hands down he threatened all the stage hands that if we wernt all pushed to the side when he got off stage that he would "bash our faces in"

Now the new David-Lee-Roth-Van Halen album, “Tokyo Dome In Concert,” is available for purchase, and it’s super, super, super, super, super, super, crazy bad. - Doug Elfman

Look at almost all cartoon characters - they have 4 fingers. What I have heard is that 5 fingers looks too crowded and unnatural on a cartoon hand and that 4 fingers, believe it or not, looks better. Perhaps an actual cartoonist could weigh in...

Thanks for sharing Pat. Although it wasn't remotly interesting or funny, everyone here has to see it.

It wasn't funny. It's too bad that VH is known as much for it's soap opera aspects as its music.

    Wow is this British humor????

    Kinda like, not funny.

And yeah, I guess this is what VH is most known for.
Pretty sad state of affairs that someone would let his namesake band become fodder for the jokesters. Funny or not.

What the f@(C)k's that thing in the bottom left hand corner talking to Ed supposed to be?

Edit: Alright I read the whole thing again and this is plainly sick. The author must have been smoking some serious shit.
