Anyone see this months copy of Hitparader?

I saw it yesterday and they had some cool things about the boys

They have a wide spread of different bands, just thought I'd share discuss if you would like

They had some pretty cool shots of the boys too.
All songs written and performed by:

Edward Van Halen: Lead Guitars, Backround vocals
    Sammy Hagar: Lead Vocals, Acoustic/Guitars
    Michael Anthony: Bass/ Backround Vocals
    Alex Van Halen: Drums/Percussions/Back Vocals

So according to Hit Parder, OU812 is VH's 2nd best album......yeah, sure, mm, ok. I wouldn't even call it Sammy's 2nd best VH album. Some pretty odd choices.

Pretty good list. I don't agree on Slippery When Wet being a hair metal but other picks are OK. Except for Black Album on the top. I think VH is on it's place, although it should have been 5150 instead of 812.

And nice to see Hybrid Theory mentioned more than once.

It's Hit parader and as such - it's a completely arbitriary listing. i wouldn't put any stock in it. What - did they throw darts at names to come up with this list? Jeez.

Maybe it's just me but hell the first listing says it all. since when are any of these bands power metal?

    TOP 10 POWER METAL:
    10. Cannibal Corpse: The Bleeding
    9. Kreator: Pleasure to Kill
    8. Vemom: Black Metal
    7. Morbid Angel: Blessed Are The Sick
    6. Slayer: Hell Awaits
    5. Metallica: Ride The Lightning
    4. Anthrax: State of Euphoria
    3. Testament: The Legacy
    2. Megadeth: Peace Sells...But Who's Buying?
    1. Slayer: Reign In Blood

Power? uh - no. Thrash metal - sure. Speed Metal, yes. But Power? nope. Kreator's last album would be the closest of them to power as far as I think (Enemy Of God was a killer disc if anyone hasn't gotten it yet).

so who can put any stock on a list that clearly no one put any thought into. Leave that rag on the shelf to collect dust. Hit Parader = complete garbage.

Cool, but my lists wouldn't match those.
Sammy did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it.
Michael did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it.

IAMA I am a stage hand for big mainstream artists. (self.IAmA)

Q: who was the biggest douche that you have worked with?

A: Eddie Van Halen hands down he threatened all the stage hands that if we wernt all pushed to the side when he got off stage that he would "bash our faces in"

Now the new David-Lee-Roth-Van Halen album, “Tokyo Dome In Concert,” is available for purchase, and it’s super, super, super, super, super, super, crazy bad. - Doug Elfman
