Default Whats the food like at the Cabo Cantinas??

Really curious to hear some reviews of the food at Sams resturants??.
After 4 surf trips to the west coast of America I developed a huge love of Mexi food....I've never had the oportunity to get to a Cabo cantina but I'd imagine the food to be pretty authentic???.

Cabo cantina food is damn good. Pricey, but good. Sort of a Baja-Tex-Mexicali mix, lots of lime-tequila sauces of course. Seafood, sizzling fajitas, that sort of thing.

Good eatins', for sure. But I'm biased. Mexican food is pretty much status quo where I live.

I had the pleasure of eating at the Cabo Wabo Cantina in 2001 & 2004...the food was smokin! Excellent menu, the food was outstanding and the service was great...got me all revved up for a night of partying! I had chicken and beef enchiladas with beans...take me back, deja vu!!
...and in the end, on dreams we will depend...

The food is GREAT and I'll be eating there in July, hopefully, while face down in Cabo. Their popular dishes are lobster tacos (with a tequila lime marinade) and coconut shrimp. I can't wait!!!

mannnn...my mouth is watering just reading about it!....gotta get there on my next trip.

Australia's version of mexican food as anything but authentic...shedded low grade beef and very little seafood...not to mention..you can't get a tortilla bigger than 6-7" in the supermarkets anywhere!!. I did find one place run by californian guy that is pretty damn good but I've gotta travel over an hour to get it!.

I havent eaten at the Cabo Cantina but I have to agree with everyone Mexican food is excellent. I eat Mexican food about 70% of the time, the hotter and spiceier the better.

I had been without Mexican food for the last 2 weeks and as soon as I got my chance - I bolted to my favorite Mexican restaurant and got my fix of a ground beef burrito with extra, extra green chilie!!!

I ate at 2 Mexican restaurants in Melbourne where the food was outstanding, of which one of them had a photo of EVH and the owner from '98. I'm realy particular of any restaurant that serves Mexican food, but these 2 were the best I've eaten at while overseas.

As for the Cantinas, both of them are great. Sam has top quality food being served at both the Cabo and Tahoe resorts. His "Drunken Shrimp" in Cabo is great, and he has salsa made from scratch in front of you, and served at the Tahoe Wabo, which tastes awesome. It's not as good as my grandmother's, but still great nonetheless.

Crown thy good into temptation but deliver us from the twilight's last gleaming. Amen and Awomen. ."

We live on Mexican (yes, Mexican food...Hispanic food??? I guess that's from Spain) food down here in Tejas. My niece was only a year old when she started eating chips with salsa in the restaurants. I've had Mexican food in New Mexico before and it was butt-ass nasty. I just wonder what it's like in other parts of the country.
    Meet me in Cabo!
