Six Degrees of Ed Van Halen

OK. I'm REALLY writing this book and would love my fellow linkers input.
I'm hoping to have it published within the next year or two and sell it on www.vanhalenstore.com

Obviously, I'll have to pass this through a WHOLE bunch of legal avenues but I can't think of a better place or time to get it started...
I'll give credit to all who post a legit "six degrees or less".

The rules are just as the "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" goes.
I've decided to allow ANY connection as long as it has been documented on either audio or video, and, is music related. That's it.

    Let's have some fun...

    Your friend,

-sixstring (AKA: William Edward (Bill) Lewis)

I'll start us off with an easy one...

    EVH to David Coverdale...

"20 minutes (late to work)? Shit. Last year I woke up three weeks too late.
My advice is to go for the alien abduction story. Look bemused, dishevelled and on the verge of tears as you recount your story of intrusive and degrading medical tests.
Worked for me anyway. I still have colleagues asking me what it is like to fuck a green womanoid with seventeen breasts.
Alternatively just walk in and inform everyone that alcoholism is indeed a disease and that they should be less judgemental and perhaps a little more supportive."

    • Roth played with Steve Vai on Eat'em and Smile and Skyscraper
    • Vai was in Whitesnake for the Slip of the Tongue album
    • Coverdale IS Whitesnake

Ok, Eddie to Mr. T (actually easier than it seems)

I guess I should mention that you should list the album and/or projects that link the two...

    IE:

Ed recorded with DLR in VH...
Who recorded "Eat 'Em And Smile" with Steve Vai...
Who had David Coverdale guest vocal on his album "Passion And Warfare".

    Got it?

Easy...Mr. T (obviously from A Team)--> Theme song from A Team show (written and/or produced) by Mike Post --> Mike Post produced VH III with EVH (and I think Mike Post played piano on "new world".

Wow, that was even better than what I had in mind:

    Ed had Sammy in VH

Sammy Did the song for Stallone's "Over the Top" movie (Winner Takes it All)

Stallone VS. MR.T in Rocky 3
