Damn...I'm going to be out of town. Wish this show was a week later.
But really, ticket prices in 1984 were less than 20 bucks, if I remember correctly. That's about what I'd expect to pay for an older act at the HOB.
It'll probably scare 40 bucks by the time Ticketmaster gets done reaming you with fees.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em. -

    wha!?!

Hell, I've seen Sammy play for an empty Township.

The beer line will be perfect.
Plenty of room to get out of the way of the flying JD.

Which strip club will Dave go!?!

My very first concert was seeing DLR at the Niagara Falls Convention Center in March of 1988, Skyscraper tour- 16.50 a tik... Ahhhhhhhhhh those were the days! I paid $350 for two 4 Star Seats at the VH tour opener last year...

I've actually been to that HOB. Pretty decent venue for seeing a show, I think it was George Thorogood (sp?) when I was down there on a golf trip. How many does it hold, I looked but couldn't find the capacity. I would guess 1,500 absolute tops.

Tickets are $28.50 general and $72 reserved before Ticketwhore gets into it.

I would go except I am getting to drive a few Nascar laps in Richmond on Saturday morning. Can't do that after a Roth show!
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

Hmm...I live only 35 miles from MYB...not too awfully interested in a DLR solo effort, but for 28 bucks it might just be worth it...we'll see

I've seen Sammy there 2 times. Van Halen actually played there with Gary during Vanhalen III.

    Default 3 Days to Partytime!

Can't Wait til Friday @ 12:00pm when we head out of Dodge!

    Can't believe I'm going to "1st week!"
In the glory days of -=CVH=-, "1st week" was the 1st week of Summer Vacation.
