    Default vhlinks archives: "Balancing Act"

for those who don't know, there's some good shit people...

The Inside: How would you describe Michael Anthony's role in the studio?
MP: Fairly low-key. He came in and did his thing. He didn't say that much, just did what he had to do. Eddie has a lot to do with what Michael does on bass. He'd coach him on how to play certain parts, in terms of the feel and stuff.

I read the same article from the Inside. It was interesting what the engineer said about Sammy's lack of work ethics on the recording of Balance. He mentioned Sammy would maybe spend 2 hrs/day in the studio because he had dinner reservations every night.

I read the same article. If anyone wonders what Ed is referring to when he mentions Sammy's "work ethic" in the now infamous MTV interview after the break up, they need only read this engineers comments. It's pretty clear that Edward's opinion was shared by at least one other person. I was a bit shocked when I read it as well.
