Default Need help finding reference pics and info.

I'm looking for reference photos and ANY information to help me build a replica of Eddie's "Star" guitar. I'm haven't quite figured out how to post pics on this site yet, but I can describe it as having an Explorer style body with a rear cutout (hence the name "star") and a Danelectro neck. I believe this guitar was used on the Fair Warning tour, but I could be wrong.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The one you are talking about is an Ibanez Destroyer.

He also does have a "Star" Guitar w/ a Danelector neck.

    check both out here: http://www.vintagekramer.com/5150f.htm

No ... not the Shark guitar. I know that's an Ibanez Destroyer.

I'm talking about the STAR guitar with the Danelectro neck.
There aren't too many pics out there of this guitar so finding resources for the purpose of creating a replica has been tough. Yes, it's on the Kramer site. And yes it was originally white.

Where did the body come from?
What make and what type of wood?
Was anything modified to accept the Danelectro neck?
What type of pickup was used?
    Where is this guitar now?
Has anybody ever seen a replica of this guitar?

    Looks like a fun project.
I have a Star guitar, and I just ordered a Danelectro neck and Floyd.
I'm now just trying to do a little homework to make this as accurate as possible.

    Thanks

Gotcha. I should have read more carefully. I saw "Explorer," "Cutout," and "Fair Warning" and assumed you meant the Ibanez on the cover.

    Rock on...
