Greatest rock and roll album ever made.

Mean Streets. Sigh. Still a classic.

Man these anniversaries are really getting up there. Can't believe it's been that long cause I really don't think about the years since I'm getting up there myself. But my first VH concert was for Fair Warning in Oakland, CA, and they were AWESOME!! Edward in those white knickers w/red & white striped socks was classic!! As was Dave with his leather chaps w/the "strategically-placed" cut-outs! Awesome show for an awesome album, IMO!!!

I'm happy to say that I was conceived and born during this album and tour.
Bobby Cohn: Who's going to be at Waynestock?
Wayne Campbell: Um, uh...Aerosmith & Pearl Jam!
Garth Algar: Ha ha ha ha ho!
    Bobby: Who else?
    Garth: Uh, me...and...and Wayne...
    Wayne: ...and uh...VAN HALEN!!!
Garth: Wow. Van Halen. Who else?
    Bobby: Yeah, who else?
Wayne: Uh, an old man fashioning a kayak out of a log?

Well, if this album is so adored by some... Why does it get 7 replies while III runs over two pages of posts

The greatest lies in controversy, not in what's so obvious.

A few years ago the Who got together and did a tour in which they played the entire album Quadrophenia. How about one day VH regroup and go out and do Fair Warning? Excuse me while I go listen to Hear About It Later.

It doesn't seem Fair Warning came out 24 years ago ... the remastered CD sounds like it was released yesterday. Still, a kickass CD and one of the best.

I'm surprised no band has ever done a decent cover tune of this album.(Unless they Have) and i ain't talkin about tribute albums here.

I always envisionned, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers at their Heyday, doing a cover of "Dirty movies".
