Default Leslie West Inspired By EVH

I was watching VH-1 Classic Rock Show and Leslie West (Of Mountain) said Eddie Van Halen inspired him to pick up his guitar and play again. He was going through rehab and friend told him to check out this new guitar player. He first saw Eddie when Van Halen was opening for Journey. He didn't say what year it was, but my guess is probably 1977 or 1978. After seeing Eddie play that inspired him to play his guitar again. He got to meet Eddie and they have become good friends.

That's great that Ed inspired Leslie like that. Music is a very powerful in more ways than one.

Yes music is VERY powerful. I chased this girl for 2 years, she didn't want anything to do with me because she felt I was a "bad boy" lol. I wrote her a song, and boom.... we ended up getting married over a year ago... so yeah, music will do great things.
