    Default vh theory 05

this just a theory so think about it and respond.
its been a quite 05 for the vh camp. maybe just maybe the boys are hunkered down at 5150 working on some tunes . my reasoning is this ,
nothing from sammy since new yrs at cabo and the super bowl party. im sure he would be on the road asap after the holidays . m.a hasnt been heard from and his site hasnt beem updated as of today. and well we know how the vh brothers like to keep a tight lid on their private life. i know this talk is nothing new . but i thought i would give a positve spin to vh.so who knows maybe come summer time the boys could be making some noise.

Yeah wishful thinking, but doubt it. I thought Sammy was touring over the summer? Don't forget about the AC/DC rumors. Allz we can do is wait the wait thru the Big Silence once again. Whatta bummer to be a VH fan after all this. But got VH on the brain so guess it comes with the territory in trying to wait these guys out.

Well it is getting to be that time of year when there is nothing better to do than throw in some VH and down a couple cold ones, I guess there is something better, downing a couple cold ones in the parking lot knowing you are about to see the greatest rock band ever. So here's to hoping that the boys will get it together and do something this summer.

I'm sure people were all thinking the same thing, that they were working in the studio with dave in 2000. I doubt much of anything will happen in '05

Unfortunately I don't believe we're going to be hearing much from the guys for awhile. That being said, that may be a good thing. That last tour basically destroyed the legacy of Van Halen. Say what you will about Mach III but the show I saw with Gary was the best show I've ever seen. I know many don't like him, but he sang his ass off onstage and tried to give the fans what they wanted. With Sammy back we got screwed over with another greatest hits pachage with one decent b-side on any other VH album and 2 songs that would have never seen the light of day at another time in their history and a tour that was horrible on many, many nights. I saw 2 shows this tour (Toronto & Hamilton), Toronto was bad and Hamilton was absolutely embarassing. Ed & the boys should have been ashamed of the show. So here's hoping Ed finds his way into rehab and maybe one day they can be worthy of the name Van Halen again, but I'm not certain we'll see that again.

i agree on on your comment about gary. the show i was at he really did pour his heart i really enjoyed it. i think he should be singing with queen right now...........i never really hold any water on dlr coming back . that bridge is broken and never getting fxed. i think private life has a better chance of reforming than the original vh.

You make it sound like Mike is in the studio. Even if Van Halen were recording, Mike wouldn't be there. That's just how it is any more.

Personally, I don't think we will see/hear from VH until late 2005 at the earliest (and that is wishfull thinking). The Wait Part II is upon us but Sammy and Mike are out touring and DLR is doing a few shows.

That fuckin sucks man that Toronto & Hamilton sucked, because the show i saw in Vancouver was fuckin awesome (your hearin this from a long defender of DLR and Hagar hater) it was unbelievable the show they put on. The Province newspaper (the leading entertainment paper in all of the Province of BC and in my mind Canada) said that the Vancouver show and i quote was "A Show For The Ages", but nobody talks about that. Its always whatever happens in Toronto or New York that matters i guess.

Also how much can we expect from these guys, I mean Sammy Hagar is almost as old as the Rolling Stones and anything he's done on the stage was better than the Rolling Stones SARS concert in Toronto that was laughable, but everyone still seems to love the Rolling Stones, where did Van Halen go wrong? They have more album certifications than the Rolling Stones, and if they somehow don't anymore i know for a fact they did for a number of years. I mean these guys are in their 50's touring harder than any other group or so-called artist, i would expect to see some shitty shows unless they space it out more with their dates but some cities will get shafted obviously.

I say to Van Halen, let us in on whats goin on, because the worst thing for anybodies career is getting your fans pissed at you, and if we have to wait another month of nothing i'm throwin in the towel, i honestly think for the first time i will actually give up on my fav band since i was 12, not that Van Halen gives a flyin fuck they got their fuckin millions. The countdown is on 30 days left: who's with me?
