    Default 14th Anniversary of F.U.C.K.

I actually had to wait 2 months from this date to get this CD. I remember going to the HMV store in West Edmonton Mall and they put up these huge posters/banners in the front display. I asked the manager if I could have one of them when they decide to remove the huge banners, etc. The manager said they were already spoken for. DAMN!

What I didn't know was that FUCK was released on my spouse's BD.
Homer: No one snuggles with Max Power. Just strap on and feel the Gs!

American Coast Guard: Back off Canadians we got them.
Canadian Coast Guard: You back off hosers, they are in Canadian waters, eh.
American Coast Guard: Beat it you puck smacking maple suckers!
Canadian Coast Guard: Take a hike you Shatner stealing Mexico touchers!

Bart: Who the hell is this?
Jack Bauer: I’m Jack Bauer, who the hell is this?
Bart: Me, er… I’m Ahmed Adudi
Jack: Chloe, get me all you can on Ahmed Adudi… Does anyone there know Ahmed Adudi?
Chloe O’Brien: Ahmed Adudi; wealthy Saudi financier… Disappeared into Afghanistan in the late 90s…
    Jack: … Really?
Chloe (ironically): No Jack it’s a joke name, you’re being set up.
    Jack: DAMMIT!

FUCK is the greatest Sam album. I actually got the album for a dollar, but when I heard it I was suprised I didn't have to pay 30 dollars. Classic. Even Roth fans have to admit they were playing hard and like VH in that album.

Wow. Just a few days ago, it was DD's birthday, of some sort. This was a great week for VH!
So you broke down, trying to leave town, I broke down crying on your return. You left me feeling hopeful, I'll never see your face again. You made for a bad lover's liver. You stole all the covers and busted my head. You made me such an asshole, I wish we'd never met. I'm tired of being bored. I'm through with the headaches. Hiding my hands that tremble like earthquakes. Under the table, under the daytime sky, Good Fucking Bye- Good Fucking Bye, Alkaline Trio

FUCK's my favorite Sam-era VH album. I picked it up at Amazon for like 70 cents a while back.

Great album! The best with Hagar bar far! It sounds Thick and heavy, lets thank Andy Johns for that! I think Andy Johns should hook up with VH for the next one(if there is going to be a next one) he gave the band a certain vibe in the studio. When this record came out I just couldnt put it down, it had a kinda dark vibe, Pleasure Dome was my favorite!

It's Van Halen's most "Rock" rock album. I like how they did this album, from the cool sound (real drums) to Ed's completely different tone (compared to 5150 and OU812). Plus they didn't work on a new song until they completed the one prior to that, I think that's what makes all the song's sound so different, and it was a new concept for VH at the time.

It's not my favorite (it's my third favorite), but I think it was a creative high for VH with Sammy, it's a lot like Fair Warning in that it was not what most fans expected, and the band didn't seem to care.

I wonder what would have happened to VH if they just did a 5150 II or 0U812 II, because the landscape in music changed a lot at the exact moment Van Halen released this album, and it fit right in with what was going down at the time, a more song oriented heavy rock type of thing, keys and ballads would not have gone over well back in 1991-1992.

This album has some really great songs on it ("Poundcake, Right Now, Top of The World" and one that I never really cared for ("Man on a Mission"). My favorite thing about the album was Al's drum sound which was HUGE!!!

My own anniversary was a few days earlier, since I was in college working at a local record store and got the CD early.

IMO, it's an uneven album. There are unbelievable tracks, followed by filler. Definitely use the skip button on this one. Still, the great tracks make this one a must have.

I love every fucking song on this cd.

Poundcake: A drill guys, a fucking drill. Who cares if someone else plays guitar witha drill this is Ed Van Halen. And those sweet sweet harmonics. What a badass song.

Judgement Day: Hey kids, here's one for ya, a very dark and very heavy song. Those awesome screams with Sam and Mikey. Definitely one of the bands best.

Spanked: A lot of people call this filler. I call it too hot to handle. The darkness of the baritone guitar. Wow. And those backing vocals. So the lyrics are a little cheesy. TOO BAD. All you bad bad boys, call her up on the spank line.

Runaround: How about one of the bands best songs. This song just is filled with awesomeness including my favorite solo of all time. If you hate this song, you might be a robot.

Pleasure Dome: Prog Rock anyone? Maybe, either way this song kicks. So much energy and feeling in this song. Not to mention some of big Al's best work.

In 'N' Out: More boring filler. OR... A truely underrated song. I thinks this song is cool in a certain way. I guess I can KIND of see how someone could hate it...wait no I can't. Unh uh uh-huh! (In 'n' out!)

Man on A Mission: STOOPID FILLER!!!! Not really, I think it's catchy. The intro kinda gets on your nerves sometimes. I dunno, kinda generic, but good none the less.

The Dream Is Over: I think one of their most underrated songs along with Aftershock. This song just kicks. The tone is that of a dead man yelling obscenities through his guitar whilst watching a movie on the holocaust. CRAZY! This song is basically a foreshadowing to the Balance album. Dark, thick, and awesome.

Right Now: Who'd a thunk that pianos would still be cool in the 90's. Van Halen did, and this is prolly their most well known hit with Hagar. It's cool, has a message and doesn't shove that message down your motherfuckin' throat in a way that would be painful. A great song. Even better live.

316: A song that was cool back when we called it "guitar solo" on LWAN.

Top of the World: With the outro to Jump as it's intro to this song, one can only say RIP OFF. Or they could say a cool mid tempo song to end the album with. Great lyrics great vocals. A great song. Not the best. But a nice closing to one of Halen's best albums.

That is a misprint on the official site. The album actually came out JUNE 17 1991.
But it is a great record.
