Default Whom Of Your Heroes You Would Like To Meet?

... and have a chat? Here are mine choices:

    1. Sammy Hagar - The dude just plain rocks, love his music and the attitude, the kinda man you'd like to have in any company

    2. Zakk Wylde - From what I've seen and herd he seems to be a stellar guy, maybe rough at times but he's a magnificent personality anyway

    3. Ridley Scott - IMO the director with the most powerful visionary and attention to the smallest detail, would like to talk on sertain professional (*cough*) subjects

    4. Stephen King - I still find it amazing how much I have in common with his characters! Sometimes I read about their actions and go like: "Huh?? That's what I'd come up with *blink blink* ?" Plus he's a very versatile person, could have discussions on everything with him

    5. Natalie Portman - I've based my (very first) screenplay over an influence of her role in Leon movie, and it was all cool until I've learned how much strong impact that role had in her life. So, I'd like to know about this from a person who've experienced it already before turning my script into life

    And of course,
My . Don't have to explain here

    What about you guys?

    1. Edward Van Halen - talked to him for a coulpe secs in Toronto and I'd love to have a conversation with him again. seems to be nicer than a lot of people make him out to be

    2. Sammy Hagar - one of the most laid back guys I'd probably ever meet. and plus this would be realistic because he loves his fans and I'm sure he would chat for a couple mins with a Redhead.

    3. Mohammed Ali - the greatest athlete ever? It fair to say that he could be

    4. David Lee Roth - to see what he's really like when the cameras and tape recorders are off

Diamond Dave- Just to have a few shots and party for a night.

Sandra Bullock- Just to see how long I could hold back a hard on.

Magic Johnson- To let him know how amazed I was when I would watch him play as a kid.

Wayne Chrebet- I want to hear what it is like to be the ultimate underdog from the horses mouth.

I actually got to spend some time with Nikki and Tommy after a show years ago. Nikki is really a good guy, very fan friendly! Tommy was more interested in extra carricular activities that night, but talked with him for a while. Lots more to this story, but somethings are better left unsaid if ya catch my drift. Anyhow if you ever get to meet Nikki ask him who Dr. Funkenstein is. He would get a laugh about that.

Who I would like to meet and would have like to have met:

    1. Hunter S. Thompson: His books just kill me and his wit was one of a kind.
    2. Joe Namath: My boyhood idol and the football stories he could tell.
    3. Johnny Carson: Class act and forever funny
    4. Keith Richards: That's a guy I'd like to get drunk with!!!
    5. Ted Nugent: I don't hunt, but if I was gonna this would be the guy I would want to learn from.

Eddie Van Halen-Would love to sit down with him and just talk about stuff from before my time.

Sammy Hagar-Sammy is the fan's musician. The fact the he's so down to earth and even has the same political views as me makes me think we'd hit it off!

Don Mattingly-Was my hero as a kid living in New Jersey. It broke my heart when the Yanks won the series the year after he retired.

Dave Mustaine-Just like Sammy, he will do anything for the fans. Hoping to do the M&G this summer on Gigantour just to let him know he's the greatest singer/songwriter ever, or at least that he's tied with Hetfield.

James Hetfield-Love Metallica, love this guy's attitude. Just think he'd be really cool to hang out with.

Ted Nugent-What can I say, he's the Nuge. He's also from the same area in Illinois that I live in now.

I'm agreeing with you on that one. My mom bought me Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas yesterday (always best to get your kid into books about acid trips in the desert at an early age, I think ) and, I have to say, it's a really great book! I've always been intrested in his work, since my family are really into his writing.

    Ok, next 4....

    2. Eddie Van Halen- for obvious reasons.

    3. Jim Morrison- A.) because he was hot when he wasn't a decaying body. B.) some of the lyrics to Doors songs are amazing. He accomplished alot in his short life.

    4. Mick Jagger- just to ask him what the heck is making him have the same amount of stage presence as he had in the 60s.

    5. Marilyn Monroe- how she stayed faboulous-looking, yet was a size 14!

So you broke down, trying to leave town, I broke down crying on your return. You left me feeling hopeful, I'll never see your face again. You made for a bad lover's liver. You stole all the covers and busted my head. You made me such an asshole, I wish we'd never met. I'm tired of being bored. I'm through with the headaches. Steve Lukather - IMHO the greatest guitarist to walk the face of the earth, l have met him before, but l would really love to sit down and pick his brain, not nessesarly about guitar, but anything, he was such a cool guy, and very friendly.

Neal Peart - One of the greatest drummers ever, have a jam, give Geddy, Alex and Steve Lukather a call and have an almightly jam. Plus, he writes some great vocal melodies and lyrics, l'd like to get some pointers on that, cause l suck at it. hehe.

Steve Morse and John Petrucci - I think it says it all, you guitarists would understand.

Jerry Lewis - The greatest comedian ever!!!!!!!!! But the young Jerry Lewis. Sit down have a few beers and laugh.

I think that'll do for now.

    Riddick.

Been there, done that. Shook his hand by Caesars Palace in Las Vegas in '89, shortly after the Lakers were defeated by the Pistons in the NBA Finals. Very cool guy.

On the other hand, my parents are my hero's and I've met them plenty of times. Got my ass whacked by them a few times too.

If I could meet one person in the world, it would be Stephen King.
    "Suck a fat one, faggot."

"You may recognize some of these chemicals. Let's start with cyanide...The one the Aum Shinrikyo cult attempted to use to commit mass murder in a Tokyo subway in May 1995...The same cyanide produced routinely--1.4 million tons per year--for use in the production of plastics, adhesives, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and so on. It seems that those who put small amounts of cyanide in subways are terrorists. But those who produce it in mass quantities and contaminate broad reaches of soil, water, and air, killing countless living beings, are not terrorists, but rather capitalists, and are counted among the finest and most powerful people on the planet."

"You know what's weird to me is Christians who are against the death penalty. After all, if it weren't for the death penalty, we wouldn't celebrate Easter!"

1 - EVH - I've met him a few times but never really got to have a conversation with him, I'd kill to do that!!!

2 - Dan Marino - The best QB IMO to ever play the game and an all-time hero of mine!

3 - Mark Martin - Shook his hand several times but like EVH would love to just shoot the shit with him for a while, another hero of mine!

4 - Henry Rollins - I love Rollins, music and spoken word. Black Flag/Rollins Band helped me thru some hard times years ago and I've been a loyal fan for years!

5 - Sylvester Stallone - My fav movie actor, even though he's not that good, I grew up idolizing Rocky Balboa and have been following Sly's movies ever since!
