    Default installing Floyd Rose question

I decided that i want to replace the neck on my guitar. The neck i want to replace it with is a strat type maple neck. Both the neck and the body of my guitar have a Floyd Rose nut and bridge. However, the neck i want to put on it is just a standard nut. Does anyone know where i can get some info about installing a Floyd Rose nut on the neck? I am pretty sure i know how to go about doing the routering and getting the old nut off, my main concern is about the Truss rod getting in the way. Any help/advice would be great, thanks.
