Damn, you beat me to posting a thread on WACF's 25th Anniversary. I love this album from beginning to end.
Homer: No one snuggles with Max Power. Just strap on and feel the Gs!

American Coast Guard: Back off Canadians we got them.
Canadian Coast Guard: You back off hosers, they are in Canadian waters, eh.
American Coast Guard: Beat it you puck smacking maple suckers!
Canadian Coast Guard: Take a hike you Shatner stealing Mexico touchers!

Bart: Who the hell is this?
Jack Bauer: I’m Jack Bauer, who the hell is this?
Bart: Me, er… I’m Ahmed Adudi
Jack: Chloe, get me all you can on Ahmed Adudi… Does anyone there know Ahmed Adudi?
Chloe O’Brien: Ahmed Adudi; wealthy Saudi financier… Disappeared into Afghanistan in the late 90s…
    Jack: … Really?
Chloe (ironically): No Jack it’s a joke name, you’re being set up.
    Jack: DAMMIT!

So we're celebrating the anniversary of WACF, VHII, 5150, VHIII. March is VH time, so where's my NEW ALBUM? I'll go listen to WACF for approximately the 1100th time but I wish I were out buying new VH music instead!

I LOOOOVE WACF. I bought it and it was just so heavy, and you could tell the band was kickin back and having a fucking ball with that album. A high point for VH! Love the album

It's an odd little album. It doesn't feel as tight as VH or VH2, but that's part of its charm. It's a rough, messy kind of album... but a damn good one. Before I had all the albums, I used to think this one was pretty cool. Nowadays it's probably my least favourite Dave era disc, but that doesn't mean I don't like it. I do. The others are just better.

I'll give it another listen and see if I like it more. It has some classics: Cradle Will Rock, EWS, Romeo Delight, Take Your Whiskey Home, In A Simple Rhyme, Could This Be Magic?

Damn...I just listed virtually the whole album!
    Waylon Jennings: 1937-2002.

Ah yes. The days of having a new VH disc and tour every year. Now I would settle for a new album every three years. Don't even need the tours, I would just be happy with some new music.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

Hey don't worry, we're all up there with you. What a great time of year to be a VH fan, it seems like a lot of VH milestones hit about this time of year. Happy anniversary to my fave VH album.
