Default The Most Lucky Man in Music

From all Music industry, who do you think is the most lucky dude to play with the bests on stage? Apart from obvious Michael Anthony, my vote goes for Ozzy. First, he's been in a band with a guy who've invented Heavy Metal, then somehow he got lucky to sings for Randy Rhoads, then he got a chance to do so for Zakk Wylde. Unbelievable !

Bassist from Queen is one lucky bastard too IMO.

DLR and Ozzy would get my vote musically.
Dave going from EVH to Vai to Becker and Ozzy going from Iommi to Rhoads and later Zakk Wylde.
Both guys kept getting in with some great guitarists time after time.

Ringo. On the flip side the unluckiest has to be Pete Best.

Yeah...I'm gonna go ahead and reiterate the fact that Mike's talent has nothing to do with luck, and that Van Halen's legacy means nothing without the benefit of his sound, input, flexibility, and overall cool factor.

In other words, Dave, Sam, Ed, and Al were lucky to have him.

    Um...duh.

In addition, Ozzy has hardly coasted through the years on luck. Randy wanted to play for him, because, oh, I dunno...classic Sabbath kicks fucking ass?

    Um...duh.

I have to agree, Ozzys cool and all and yes very lucky, for a guy that can't sing all that well, but the rest of the family can go get <bbbboooooooopppppppppp>

    Also Ringo starr.

Keith Pichards is lucky to be alive.

Ringo Starr definitely, given the enormous popularity The Beatles would become and their situation with Pete Best, how can you go past that?

Also, Sammy Hagar. It's not everyday that you receive a phone call out of the blue asking you to front the greatest rock band in the world.
Bobby Cohn: Who's going to be at Waynestock?
Wayne Campbell: Um, uh...Aerosmith & Pearl Jam!
Garth Algar: Ha ha ha ha ho!
    Bobby: Who else?
    Garth: Uh, me...and...and Wayne...
    Wayne: ...and uh...VAN HALEN!!!
Garth: Wow. Van Halen. Who else?
    Bobby: Yeah, who else?
Wayne: Uh, an old man fashioning a kayak out of a log?

Simple. The luckiest people in music are rap stars. Getting millions of dollars just to talk fast and rhyme is a steal IMO.

The most lucky man in music is the man who can write and play his own music while making enough coin to live.
