Default What did you think of VHIII??

Ok, Ok, settle down, I know I will get ripped on by the old timers here....beat me over the head with your walkers if you want but, hey, there isn't much going on here, and I wasn't here when you guys discussed this...ok?? But seriously, I didn't think it was really that bad of an album. Of course I think Ed could vomit into a mic and make good music but that benig said.. no,it is not classic VH, or even the stuff we had with Sam, that is also awsome, but, damn....Ed played his ass of on some of these songs! I thought Josephina was great and Dirty Water Dog....well I liked it.. but...definetly not what we would expect from VH. I know the album didn't sell that well but, for one, since when does popularity mean it is good or not, c'mon J. Timberfag sold how many albums? 'Nuff said about that dickhead...you get the point..and second when was the last time a classic rock band sold a ton of albums, it just aint going to happen in this hip hop Mtv world we live in. Although I always wanted to see Sam back in the band....part of me would have liked to have seen a second album with Gary, it might have been great, the guy can sing his fucking ass off! Bring on the zzzzzzzzzz's!!

At first I hated it. But after a while, I started to really get into the songs and now it's one of my favorite VH albums. Maybe Gary was too nice of a guy to get accepted by everybody.
