Sure was! NM5150 was the guy who gave me the heads up on that!! e-mailed me that the Diamond years dvd was free for the downloading, apparently this guy makes his money by downloading for free then selling it on e-bay! Footstompinmusic is the sellers name, and apparently there's someone else doing the same. RIPPING OFF THE FANS!!!

I really don't understand these jerks. But then again...there are people that will fall for it...so you can't blame it ALL on the sellers. I am in no way defending these guys...but if you have a computer and choose to use eBay you are toying with only one persons money. YOUR OWN!! All adults should be able to think for themselves. I personally get my DVD's from jamtothis or easytree. But that's because I did the research on how to use Bit Torrent and make my own DVD's. That was my choice. And others choose to spend that kind of outrageous money without either KNOWING the alternative or just choosing to IGNORE the alternative because "it's too hard." Sure...it takes some learning but it saves a TON of money in the long run.

Again...I'm not condoning the selling of these products on ebay. I think it sucks that they're doing that. In the early days of eBay I purchased quite a few bootleg CD's but there was no other alternative. This was way before the days of Bit Torrent. But I set a price for myself. I would not pay over a certain amount for a show unless I thought I would NEVER see that show listed again because it was a rare one. The quality of that DVD listed on eBay that went for $100 was definitely free quality. I would feel like a SUCKER if I paid $100 for it....hell...I would feel like a sucker if I paid $50 for it!! But think about this. There is no value to that DVD. It is not sold in stores and it is the hard work of a fellow Van Halen fan meant to be put out for FREE and FREE only. Some guy comes along and puts it on eBay and throws a value on it. If there is someone stupid enough to pay that value which the seller made up...then so be it. It's hard for me to feel bad for him and to feel like he was ripped off.

Again..there are alternatives out there and the only money those people are spending is their own!!
