Help! My Queensryche CD is actually a Janet Jackson CD!!!!

How weird is this? I purchase Queensryche's "Promised Land" at Record Archive used for $5, and I put it in my computer and it plays a Janet Jackson album! So, I take out the disk and look at it. It has the real "Promised Land" print on it, and it has to be real because it has a bit of a "bubbly" surface. It turns out EMI produced both Queensryche and Janet Jackson. So, I'm thinking this must be a factory error. Have any of you heard of such a thing? Would this be worth some money?

From what I understand, Janet's music lately isn't worth the toejam off the body of an LA crackwhore.

lol...well, I'm just saying is a wrongly printed CD worth any money in general? I've honestly never heard of it happening. I'm pissed too. I wanted that damn Queensryche CD.

I worked at a music store to put me through college and started there when I was in high school...so I was there for nearly 9 years. I saw this happen only ONE TIME before. We had a batch of Springsteen CD's that had a Mexican group actually pressed on the CD. But it still had Springsteen artwork on it. It's rare but it does happen. I would take it back to the store and tell them to put it in their CD player and listen for themselves.

When i was working at best buy I saw this twice. Believe or not Janet Jackson was involved in one of the ones i remember. The customer bought a Janet Jackson Cd and it was some kind of latin group.

As a matter of fact I have. When Dr. Feelgood came out, I bought it from a local record store just across from campus. I take it back to the drom, pop it in the CD player and this un-crue-sual (te-he-he) music starts playing. I'm thinking it's just a funny intro, so I wait. It doesn't stop. I skip to the next song...same thing, next song...same thing, next song...same thing, etc. I take the CD out and it looks legit, so I take it back and tell the guy "put this in your CD player and tell me WTF is going on." He puts it on, hits play and starts laughing his ass off. It was the Pixies' new album disguised as Dr. Feelgood. I thought about keeping it for giggles, but he offered me a 2 for 1 exchange and I didn't like the Pixies anyway.

    Now it can be told:

Janet Jackson inks deal as new singer for Queensryche,
replacing the falsetto stylings of Geoff Tate with a more
    R&B flavored approach.
Michael Wilton was quoted as saying: "Sure Geoff sings
like a girl, but what can you say about Janet. She's the tits."
Rumored titles for the new album are "Promised Gland" and
    "Operation Wardrobe Failure".
