    Default Nine Inch Nails

I was blown away yesterday on the ride home for work.....I heard "The Hand That Feeds" and NIN is back!! You definitely can tell it's Grohl back there pounding the living hell out of the drums. I hope the rest of the album is like this......

No, Trent Reznor is a big fan of his and asked Dave to do the drums. Trent has a different guy playing drums on the tour he is about to start!!!!

I've downloaded about half of it. The best drum song of the bunch, IMO,
is "Getting Smaller". Boo ya kashaa. Check it. Respeck.

Grohl started as a drummer with Nirvana, he had always been one of my fave drummers and I was always hoping he would come back musically somehow as a drummer...if he's drumming on a NIN song it's definately worth a listen...

I've heard that not all the drums on the record are Dave Grohl, only about 6 songs actually involve him on drums. It's also been passed on to me that the new single does not actually have Dave on drums. Now, the info I got could be wrong, but the first thing I thought when I heard the single was that it did not sound like Grohl on drums. It's also not him in the video of them playing it live in the studio at the NIN website.

Thanks for the info! I found an interview with Trent where he mentions a diffferent tune with Dave on drums, but not THTF.....I was under the impression that Dave played drums on all the new tunes....thanks again for clearing that up!!

What the fuck is up with "red herrings" anyways? I tried to download three new songs all weekend long and none of them were right. Do people get off fucking with others or something?
One time I did download a "phoney" song that ended up being an amatuer original song and it was actually pretty good!
