Sounds good, even though mick sounds a little weird in spots. I’m glad It’s Only Rock ‘N Roll ended up with the songs it did. It is one of my favourites from the Stones

I like Goat's Head better, but IORNR was an album that got a lot of love, growing up.

Lot's of good tunes all over that one.

Agreed on the Drift Away cover, shows the limits to Jagger's voice.

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

I think "Drift Away" would've been a mistake because it was a current song at the time, or close to it. Plus they didn't change it up that much. I've got a Humble Pie live album where they pay "tribute" to The Who and the Stones by playing "Honky Tonk Women" and "Won't Get Fooled Again." Seems like "Jumpin' Jack Flash" is in there, too. Anyway, I think it lowers Humble Pie to look like "fans" of their direct peers, even if those peers played to 18,000 while they played to 3,000. Same for the Stones covering this one. Interesting choice and nice execution, though.
