I cant believe that shit. $60.00 for a t-shirt with the 1st album logo on it? Am i reading that right? $60.00? A person would have to be on some heavy dope to buy from them. Where do they get off charging so much for a measly ass t-shirt?

Shit. The last time I visited that site that shirt was $50. I bought it a long time ago from their site for $20.

Doesn't Brad $tark$ have something to do with that site? Or was that another VH merchandise shop?

That's because they are out of print. They were cheaper then because there were more of them. The fewer that are in stock, the more people are willing to pay for them, so the more expensive they get. Supply and demand, people.

I don't give a shit about supply and demand, kiss my ass if you think I'd pay $60 for a t-shirt.

They may still have them, I don't know, but a few months back they sent me an email about how they got ahold of a bunch of guitar magazines, and they were selling them for ridiculously high prices.

I might never buy anything from that dump again, but I DEFINITELY won't be buying anything until they make good on the Inside magazine situation. Last time they had the curteousy to send me an email it said the next issue would be out in early January. Imagine that, they were full of shit, somebody mark the date on the calendar.

I'm pissed as hell. I've just been reading my back issues of INSIDE, and it's a great magazine. And you know what? This is fraud. Plain and simple. The band have not taken advance money on future albums, so they've done nothing wrong. But this magazine has taken money on advance issues, and they're almost a year and a half late with the next issue!

The Balance tourbooks are something hella high on there also ($40? $50? I can't be bothered to check.) But I bought mine a couple years ago, from The Inside (what is now vanhalenstore.com), for something like $15. They just raise their prices as they get fewer and fewer of an item in stock. And because VH isn't exactly producing anything new...what's in stock just keeps getting depleted.

If you want to find some great deals on VH memorabilia, totally check Ebay. It's addicting...

I never bought anything from there and I can see why many of you don't either. I guess anything with a VH logo on it must be worth more since they are not in the limelight.

On a different note, I remember during the VH3 tour, if you bought a tour book, you got a free edition of the INSIDE in it. The guy in front of my in line, bought the tour book just for the copy of the INSIDE. The vendor ended up giving it to me for free.

Brad has absolutely nothing to do with vanhalenstore.com.

He used to work with Jeff at The Inside as part of the internet relations, but he is now no longer affiliated with The Inside.

Yeah, I found it kind of coincidental that a few prices on some the older merchandise suddenly increased soon after knowledge of the DLR lawsuit surfaced.

Funny how these shirts suddenly became "rare", isn't it?

    Do it yourself.

Remember iron-ons from your heydays in elementary school? Well now you can do it with a computer printer and some iron-on transfer paper. Just make sure you flip your image before you print it. Then all you gotta do is fire up the iron and let it rip!
