I still have mine but the disc-drive crapped out on me.
There were some pretty cool games on that one and the Texas Instruments computer, back in the day. One thing I don't miss is typing in all of those programs only to find they didn't work!

I used to play the hell out of that and Castle Wolfenstein. There was some cool helicopter game too and I think it was on a cassette you had to load.

How about 'One On One'? Larry Bird vs. Dr. J? You could shatter the backboard and the little guy would come out and sweep it up?

Hell yeah Buckeye! Dr.J vs Larry Bird was the best. Birdman raining down jumpers, Dr J shattering the backboard.
I wish I could play that game again. My brother and I used to play that non-stop. At the time that was quite an upgrade from the Vic 20. I think we bought the Commodore 64 specifically to play One on One. Great game.

Yup, I had that too. They also came out with Michael Jordan Vs. Larry Bird and had the dunk contest and the three point contest. I like the original better though. I loved it when the guy would come out and clean up the shattered backboard.

It wasn't a C64 it says on the update, sorry....

Update: Welcome visitors from fark.com. Alas, it wasn't a C64 after all, as one of you points out in my comments (see also heise.de), but an Intel 310 system with a 80286 processor. WDR has now corrected their story. ITW also published the correction, and also links to video news clips from WDR (in German, of course).
