    Default Seymour Duncan Invader

does anybody have the invader in the bridge position? likes? dislikes? what do you have it paired with. i'm thinking about putting it in a basswood body but i don't know what the neck p'up would be. thanks

High output, very muddy, I estimate the time it was installed in my guitar to be about 3 minutes. I personally would stay away. The Seymour site has a very nice section with sound samples, perhaps it would help you with your pickup selection.

I personally wouldn't call it muddy myself. I have one in an Ibanez RG470 (Basswood body). It sound's cool as hell to me (plus it look's bad ass).

It definately doesn't have a lot of high's, but it's not bassy either, balanced would be how I describe it. I prefer to have an even pickup that need's eq from the amp.

sorry that i forgot to mention my amp. it's a fender princeton chorus. to be honest the pickup i like out of it the most is the neck p'up from my olp, so i want something bassy and high output but still clear. i have listened to the clips on seymour duncan.com, i was just wonderin if anyone had used it.
