Default Guitarists Who Doesn't Get Their Due?

This is subjective, but who would you pick?

    For me, most underrated are:
Neil Schon - Awesome on his axe and a brilliant shredder as well
Richie Sambora - This dude is really great. Not on the level of EVH, but he's very creative and skillful
Sammy Hagar - I really mean that. Having Ronnie and Eddie behind him has put his guitar playing in shade.

I agree with the statement about Hagar. He is an awesome guitarist. Way better than some of the shit floatin' around on today's radio stations.

I really like Jake E Lee too, I think George Lynch is damn good too, Mr Scary just kicks ass.

I am going to get beat down on this one, well I don't think he is all that good, but he definatly had his own style and did not rip off Eddie at all IMO. Is CC Deville from Poison. I really dont like big hair at all but he did his own thing I give him props for that. I am sure Ed influenced him, but he was not a EVH clone like a lot of big hair people.

Way back in the day there was this all black metal band called Sound Barrier. They had this guitarist named Spacey T that a lot of people held in high regard.

Went to see them at the Waters Club in San Pedro. There was an opening band called St. James. They weren't that good. The singer looked like he wanted to be Steven Pearcy, the bass player looked like a Rush fan the drummer was decked out in sweats (but was pretty good) and the guitar player was full swing glam. Wasn't really impressed by the band but I remember thinking the glam boy was pretty damn amazing despite the sparkle flamed Strat, the 4 inch long rhinstone earrings, the poofy bleach blond hair and the make-up. I remember thinking he smoked the Spacey T guy. (Whom is currently in Fishbone) Turns out the singer and bass player wound up in the Bullet Boys and the guitarist ended up joining a well establised local band called Poison. I always felt C.C. never played up to his ability in Poison. Like he almost "dumbed" his playing down.

I would say that Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick is underrated. Not only does he play some of the coolest guitars I have seen, but he isn't that bad either

No shit! That is cool....Steve Stevens is a freak guitar player (in a good way!) I really liked what he was "allowed" to do in the Vince Neil Band!
Underrated: Jason Bieler from Saigon Kick!
    Just go for it!
