Good show. I would have like it better if the Eagles won.

I'm not really a fan of Paul, but I thought he did a really good job tonight. I bet he puts on a great full concert.

That was an awesome halftime show. Much better then the crap acts they have had the last few years. Sir Paul kicked some ass!

That's what they should do every year. Just let McCartney or U2 or who ever play a few songs without all the dancers and duets and other BS. Some folks are saying that McCartney was lip syncing, but it looked and sounded live to me. I think Paul's just that good, plain and simple.

No way he was lip-synching. Paul *IS* that good! And yes, he puts on a fabulous full show!

I was unbelieveably lucky to see him on his "Back in the US" tour. A friend of a friend has a suite at the Palace of Auburn Hills, so I actually got to see it FREE!!!!!!! I am a huge fan of the Beatles, so to see Paul McCartney was nearly a religious experience.

I even let my daughter stay up late to watch the half-time show so she could see Paul in action. Now she wants to watch my "Back in the US" DVD. She calls him the "rock and roll boy." She's five. All men are "boys" to her!

Great halftime show and one of the better one's in years. Just a down-to-earth muscian playing the tunes he loves to play. 2 up for Sir Paul!!!

Good performance? Yes. Good halftime show? NO! And yes, there is a difference...needed some kind of surprise guest (Slash?) or something...nothing super or special about it- it wasn't a spectacle by any stretch of the imagination, and it SHOULD have been...and it was extremely awkward to see all the young kids in front of the stage acting as if they were into Paul...Bon Jovi, U2, Springsteen, Van Halen- someone just a bit more contemprary would have been more appropriate...I'm not anti- McCarteny at all- but it was dull...

    At least the Pats won.

    (Again!!)

    Agreed.
It was everthing I expected - a solid performance of some classics -
but no surprises. "Live & Let Die" was begging for some hotshot to
walk on and tear it up (Slash, Page, Perry, anyone) and they could
have mixed it up somehow, some way.

That said, it struck how legendary he is. I mean is there anyone
around right now even capable of coming up with something as
    brilliant as L&LD? Searching... searching...
