Me too . . . especially since I purchased my tix this morning. Yeah, I gave in, and got them thru their fanclub.

I picked up the new cd Rockin' the Joint at Best Buy

on the intro for "Rattlesnake Shake"

there is "Beep" when Steven says FU** but not when he says Sh##

Nowhere on cd says that this is an edited version.

I made some mistakes tonight but we sing and play our f***ing instruments. Accept no substitute Tom Petty at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center July 3, 2002

Default How about ONE GOOD NEW ALBUM

AEROSMITH Plotting Out Three Different Album Projects - Nov. 14, 2005

Launch Radio Networks reports: AEROSMITH just released a new live album called "Rockin' the Joint", but they've also got a few other projects in mind. Lead guitarist Joe Perry told the Rhode Island newspaper The Providence Journal that the band will start work on a new studio album in the spring, while two other records are in the works one is a covers record featuring pop and rock classics from the 1960s, while the other will have them re-recording some of their classic songs. Perry said, "I'm certainly a better guitar player than I was in 1973." There's no word on when any of the albums will be released.

    Why? Why? Why?

Is Sharon Osbourne now their manager - no, can't be - unless they're redoing Rock In A Hard Place. The 15 versions of "Dream On" we currently own are not enough?!? I can't see any good reason for such an album - maybe if they were switching to being a country band and so wanted country versions of some of their hits on CD. This Left Feels Wrong...

Default GENE - STAY AWAY FROM AEROSMITH !!!!!

I can't help but point out that this terrible trend of covers, live albums and re-packaging of the same songs started to blossom shortly after the Aero-Kiss tour.

Yeah, it's scary . . . pretty soon I'll have more greatest hits cds than actual albums in my Aerosmith collection.

Just scored floor seats to the AeroKravitz tour stop in Dallas. I haven't Aerosmith since the Pump tour and I've never seen Lenny Kravitz. Should be fun.

I just looked on www.stubhub.com and floor seats for Chicago were RIDICULOUS.

I might try the day of or something and see what happens. But I'm not sitting BEHIND the stage and I'm not payin $500 a seat either.

As much as I love aerosmith I just couldn't afford to go this year. The ticket prices are absurd, and I am not going to pay over 150 dollars for floor seats. This will be the first tour since 1989 I have missed because of it.

That's why I bought 8 tickets - keep 2 for me and the wife and sell the rest. I did the same thing when I got 4th row tickets to see the Stones on the Voodoo Lounge tour - bought 12, sold 6 to friends at face value, sold the remaining 5 for about 3x face value.

Honkin' On Bobo is my favourite 'Smith album since Pump. I can't believe they are already only playin' one tune from the album.
