    Can't Stop Lovin' You

I'm typically into heavier stuff but I think this is one of the best pop songs I've ever heard. It's perfect. I can't remember if it was a hit because I was young but it defiantely could have been if it was on say OU812. Balance came out a little late for heavy radio play. I never hear much about this song. It was on the 2 compilations but they didn't pull it out for the tour. I think it's just a really great song.

I do respect your bravery in this particular declaration.

It's probably safe to say you're not going to find much agreement throughout the ranks, though I'm sure you'll find some.

CSLY tends to be widely regarded as one of VH's more un-Van Halenish moments.

Its a good song, I like how the saxophone part is Ed on the guitar. It's very NonHalenish, but its still a good song, the lyrics are some of Hagar's better lyrics about love. However, this song never finds any cd/radio play in my car, almost exclusively at home.

    Default I do, I do

I like CSLY...it's actually one of my fave VH songs. Not real sure why, but it's been one of my favorites since I was about 14 years old. Granted I'm only 23 now, but nonetheless, it's stuck with me since then.

In reality it is a duet between Betsy and Sammy. He wrote it when he was dumping his wife for a younger woman. I've seen Kari up close, and she's pretty hot. Does anyone have a picture of Betsy?

I've never had a problem with the song. Calling it "pop" it something of an insult. It's got smokin' riffs, cool harmonies, awesome solo, and Sam is at the top of his game.

It's not one of their best, but I like it.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again....It's a great song and shows Van Halen's diversity.

It is a perfectly constructed tune. If VH wants to appeal to a large audience again, they should include a song as perfectly put together as CSLY.

I might get plenty of WTFs on this, but I sometimes see the color of songs, and I mean that literally. (Anyone else do this?)

Anyway, I enjoy CSLY. It always strikes me as a golden color, like a communion challis lit by the sun's rays.

I know, I know. WTF, huh? That's the color I see when I hear it, and it lightens my mood.

Dude, be careful with ACID...too many times and you are legally insane, I've heard. Enjoy your ride though.

I like it a lot, it's cheesey sure, but it still has the Van Halen sound. Ed's solo is pretty sweet too.

Wouldn't happen to do with the video would it? The dominant color seems to be what you're describing.

This song is usually ripped on here. I think its a great song. I really enjoy it for whatever reason. It was their last crossover hit. It was played on rock stations and top 40 stations non stop in 1995. As said earlier, they need another song like this to be relevant again outside diehard fans. Songs like this are unfortunately needed to turn 3/4 packed arenas to sellouts.
