    LOL!!
    "Suck a fat one, faggot."
-MikeL, showing off that sharp wit of his.

"You may recognize some of these chemicals. Let's start with cyanide...The one the Aum Shinrikyo cult attempted to use to commit mass murder in a Tokyo subway in May 1995...The same cyanide produced routinely--1.4 million tons per year--for use in the production of plastics, adhesives, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and so on. It seems that those who put small amounts of cyanide in subways are terrorists. But those who produce it in mass quantities and contaminate broad reaches of soil, water, and air, killing countless living beings, are not terrorists, but rather capitalists, and are counted among the finest and most powerful people on the planet."

-Derrick Jensen, "What We Leave Behind"

"You know what's weird to me is Christians who are against the death penalty. After all, if it weren't for the death penalty, we wouldn't celebrate Easter!"

I would drive that to work. I wonder how many spaces I could make it take up.

That is pretty cool...but check out what this Grandma did.....

85-Year-Old Shovels Out Neighborhood With Smile
Nellie Tambascia Starts Shoveling At 4 A.M.

WALTHAM, Mass. -- A retired Waltham woman is gaining popularity for her helping hands after the blizzard.

NewsCenter 5's Janet Wu reported that 85-year-old Nellie Tambascia refused to stay cooped up in her home after last weekend's blizzard and chose to spend her wintry days shoveling out her much younger neighbors.

"I shovel every day. I was out at 4 o'clock this morning. I couldn't do further down because it was all ice. But I did all the way up (the driveway) with the shovel," she said.

Tambascia has lived in her Waltham house for 68 years. Her husband used to do the shoveling until he passed away 13 years ago. Now, she talks to him as she makes her way down the street and up her driveway.

Tambascia said she has a snowblower, but it is too heavy.

Her neighbors are amazed -- and embarrassed.

"We had started shoveling the sidewalk and by the time I got around to where her driveway was, she had about a 4-foot path from her garage down her driveway done," said neighbor Eric Larsen. "I look at what she did and what I did and I wonder, 'What did I do wrong?'"

But Tambascia said her neighbors have jobs and she's home with plenty of time.

"They say, 'Why don't you sleep in the morning?' and I said, 'I can't sleep when I know I got to get up and work.' I go out, come in, get a cup of coffee, do it, have another cup of coffee," she said.

Tambascia said she ignores the warnings of her son and grandchildren.

"(My son) thinks he's my boss -- 'What are you doing? I called you!' I said, 'Where was I? Me and my shovel was outside!'" said Tambascia.

Tambascia said she would never hire someone to clear her driveway and walk.

"You know what they want? With my fixed income I could never afford to pay them. They want $40 to do my driveway!" she said. "I say, 'Baloney!'"

Tambascia admitted that she is not looking forward to another snowstorm, adding she's had enough snow for this winter.

Reminds me of the commercial for the cell phone. The father has his kids outside shoveling the drive, while he's inside enjoying his cup of joe, telling his wife, "I aint goin' out there." LOL
