Your just starting out and you want a beginner's Acoustic?

Nothing wrong with that, that's how I started but I was fortunate enough to be playing some high end acoustics early on. Is there a certain type of music you're interested in? If you're interested in rock and roll, you may wanna consider a beginner's Electric.

You say Fender, Yamaha, or Segal, but these companies, and other companies as well, make a variety of affordable acoustic and electric guitars. Check out some specific models you're intersted in, then post em in here.

    Good Luck

I have a 30 year old Yamaha acoustic and have had no complaints at all. I started with a cheapo Ibanez acoustic and never touch it, since the Yamaha sounds so much better. If you're serious about learning, I'd recommend learning on an acoustic then going to electric, and buy a good guitar first since hopefully you'll be playing it for a long, long time.
    Nothing to see here.

i would highly reccomend an american acoustic guitar that is excellent quality and excellent sound..look into acoustics by Washburn..ive had mine now for over 20 yrs and i still play it the most..aND i have a nice yamaha, and some other decent ones.

you may want to play an ovation as well...but they are more pricey

go for it and good luck..in the beginning, its all about persistance!!

    6,
I agree that Yamaha is good choice for your price range. As far as tab....Man there's dozens of good tab sites. Here's one..harmony-central ....Good luck
