    Harland Williams,
This guy can cause you to piss your pants.
I saw him at the Tempe Improv,
we laughed so hard it was like doing
    500 stomach crunchs

    Frank Caliendo,
does a standup job imitating the President,
heard him a week or so ago on local talk radio,
    it cracked me up.

Lewis Black and Dave Attell are my top dogs right now. That Caliendo guy is a fuckin bust too, Cabot. His feminine hygiene commercial as John Madden had us all in tears at X-mas during the Mad TV marathon.

Some geniuses there. Loved Chevy in those flicks, but his best role for me is still "Fletch".

Would ya believe that Kline won an Oscar for that role? "You have a lovely speaking voice, Ken - when it works."

Harland Williams is hysterical and quite underrated. The whale scene in Down Periscope is one of my favorite movie scenes ever.

    Some great names here......
However, my fav has to be the one and only Steve Martin.
His role as Freddy/Ruprect in "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels"
    Navin Johnson as "The Jerk"
"All of Me" with Lily Tomlin.
So many awesome roles in the movies, SNL, and his standup.

Steve Martin in the 70's was definitely the king! I really think he was a genius. I still listen to the "Wild and Crazy Guy" CD often, and I own 3 of his records and wore out a tape back when I was a kid. He is truly my hero!

Stephen Lynch is hysterical, if anyone gets a chance to catch his act on Comedy Central (or the commercials for his concert DVD). He sings funny songs, but not in the Adam Sandler vein. You have to see it to understand what I mean. Definitely funny stuff though.

    Funny TV characters...
    Cosmo Kramer
    Stewie Griffin

Have any of you seen this guy?

This is Eddie Izzard. He is the funniest man on the planet! Yes, he's a transvestite, or TV as he says. Please, go rent "Dress to Kill." I promise you, this is the best stand-up in the world today. He's quick-thinking like Robin Williams, but not hyperactive or annoying. The cool thing is that he assumes his audience is somewhat intelligent.

Rent it. You will not be sorry.
