Those spaghetti westerns are timeless classics! My favourite scene in The Good, The Bad And The Ugly would have to be at the end when Tuco (Eli Wallach) finds the graveyard and when all 3 of them have the triangular draw together. Ennio Morricone's score is a magical masterpiece on this one.

Henry Fonda in Once Upon A Time In The West plays one of the best villains in cinema history.
Bobby Cohn: Who's going to be at Waynestock?
Wayne Campbell: Um, uh...Aerosmith & Pearl Jam!
Garth Algar: Ha ha ha ha ho!
    Bobby: Who else?
    Garth: Uh, me...and...and Wayne...
    Wayne: ...and uh...VAN HALEN!!!
Garth: Wow. Van Halen. Who else?
    Bobby: Yeah, who else?
Wayne: Uh, an old man fashioning a kayak out of a log?

My favorite movie of all time.....

My favorite part begins at the time Tuco runs through the cemetery to the final showdown between the G, the B, and the U. Blondie's expression after he kills Angel Eyes is priceless.

My favorite line in the movie:

Blondie to Tuco - "There are two kinds of people in the world, my friend. Those with guns and those who dig. You dig."

I've watched it literally hundereds of times and it never gets old. Eastwood is the most bad ass gunslinger in movie history, period.

Awesome flick. You guys see the restored DVD version? There's a "new" scene each with Eastwood, Wallach, Van Cleef. They had lost the original audio and even the script so they had to read lips to get the dialogue down. Eastwood and Wallach both agreed to revoice their parts. Van Cleef has passed away so they got a voice actor to do his part.

Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, Eli Wallach - couldn't get any better than that!!!

Just watched it the other day. My wife thinks it's a good movie, but just doesn't have the same passion towards it as I have, kinda like =VH=. One of the best Westerns ever IMHO...

I just started re-reading the "Dark Tower" series by Stephen King last night. In his new intro he says he was inspired to write the series after seeing The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly when he was 19. It's interesting to imagine Roland as "the man with no name".

The "new" Tuco scene is early on after Blondie double crosses him. The scene is where Tuco goes and recruits 3 of his buddies to help him catch Blondie. Interesting but I can see why they cut it. Those 3 guys are killed by Blondie in that hotel scene where he's reloading/cleaning his pistol.

The Van Cleef scene is before he shows up as a Union officer in that prison camp. The scene is where Angel Eyes goes and talks to a Union officer to get information about the Bill Carson character. The scene is neat as it sort of explains how/why Angel Eyes is an officer in that prison camp. Which was always sort of confusing.

To be honest, that's as far as I made it in the DVD. I left it back in Texas with my brother. So I haven't seen the "new" Blondie scene. Maybe someone else around here knows.

My favorite is A Fistful Of Dollars ! The opening scene where he tells the casket maker to prepare 4 coffins , kills the guys for picking on his mule and not apologizing to it , then as he passes the casket maker again , says " My fault , make that 5 coffins !"
I'm paraphrasing , but that scene is classic !

One of my top 5 favorite movies! Yes, the triology is fantastic. The music, the wardrobe, the dialog and the action scenes are great. One of my favorite parts is when Tuco is in the tub and some guy who has one arm tries to kill him but Tuco blows him away because the guy is talking too much. Tuco then says, "If you're gonna shoot, shoot! Don't talk".
