    Shipping EBMM Axis to Canada

I just sold an Axis on ebay to some nice folks in Canada.

What's best for shipping? UPS or USPS?

Also does anybody know how much it will cost for shipping from Austin, TX to Canada?

    Thx!

PS, I got $1,100 for a mint black cherry quilt-top. I didn't make any money, but I didn't lose any. January is a terrible time to sell on ebay. It's full of a bunch of cheap ass mothas!

I should have and could have gotten $1,400 if I would have tried to sell it before Christmas.

I would say that UPS would be the better bet to send it over the line, USPS might have some issues that could hinder it from getting there in a fair amount of time.

UPS has an estimator on their website...as long as you have the weight and dimensions of the package itself, that should ball park you.

You could also look at FedEx Ground as well...they seem to be faster than UPS, and the route that I go when sending stuff out. I sent a 65 lb., 76 key keyboard from Phoenix, AZ to NJ in 5 business days, $17...also, they do ship to Canada, per their website.

    Hope that helps!

I shipped a guitar to Canada once through UPS. You need to either check out their website to get the shipping quote, or call them. Shipping something across international borders like that is a bit different than shipping from state to state. I'd suggest calling UPS to schedule the pickup and the representative can tell what all is involved. One thing I specifically remember having to do is fill out 3 copies of an international invoice form (which are available online at UPS.com) for customs purposes.

If I remember correctly, I think the cost of shipping the guitar from here in north AL was about $45.
