Excellent cd from start to finish! This band truly excels with its live performance and are not to be missed! I was curious to see if they had anything left in the tank with Rob back last summer, and Priest certainly didn't disappoint and along with the masses of metal heads, I was quite impressed having seen this band throughout the years since the 'Vengeance' tour and cannot wait for their World Tour coming soon to a city near you.....

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the DUALDISC or the one that has a seperate DVD? (other than 2 discs vs one)

The only difference I can see according to the Amazon description is that the documentary on the Dual disc is 30min vs the 40min one listed on the other disc?

I bought it today but won't be able to listen to it until after work tonight. I grabbed it off the shelf without looking to see if there were copies with the bonus DVD, so I have the Dual Disc one. Hopefully they're the same, and the DVD one is just so people that want the bonus material on a separate disc can have that.

OK...from what I have heard from a clerk at Best Buy (just got off the phone) is the "Special Edition" is simply a book-like deal with a hard cardboard coated cover, whereas the "normal" edition comes in a simple cd "jewel-case".

No extra anything...it just depends on the money you wish to spend.

    This ain't gospel, Greenpaw...yet I gave it a shot.

    I don't get paid until Thursday, around 2 a.m.
    Yeah...YOU try downloading with dial-up!

I am looking forward to this release for a simple reason: Brand Name.

Believe it or not, I truly enjoyed Ripper Owens' tenure...particullarly the live album from a couple years ago. I enjoyed opening up the catalogue, live -wise.

Getting back to the brand name I mentioned.

How many of us have been burned trying out "new" bands? When it comes to laundry detergent, I stick with "Tide", as the results are proven to me, time and time again, yet if I try the "newest cheapest alternative" I get holes in my clothes, or they smell putrid.

That is a large leap of faith, to be sure, as veteran bands can really blow snot on the dashboard in their reunion attempts.

Looking forward to Friday...and frying my wife's ears!

    !

Are you serious? Or am I really a doof?

Whatever..am currently playing "priest...live!" on our "el crapola" stereo.

Think I'll simply blow the fucker up on "The Sentinel", (my favorite JP song), then have an excuse to purchase a "superior" system!

The only real difference other than the docmentary length is that the DualDisc comes on one CD. The Album is on on side of the CD and the DVD portion is on the other side. With the Bonus DVD version, the DVD comes on a seperate CD. I got the DualDisc because it's the only kind they had where I picked it up. There is a warning on the DualDisc saying that not everything will be able to play the audio files. Mine was able to play it and I think they're probably talking about really old shit systems.

It's a great album and it shows that bands can still make good albums. It's not another Painkiller but it's along the same track. I like that this time there is much more variety than Painkiller but the aggression is still there. It's amazing how Rob can still hit every note known to mankind at his age. It's defintely a great album!!

    I got it...sort of.

We got 10 copies after I'd left work yesterday, selling for $11.99 (dual-disc). When I arrived at work this morning, there were 2 copies left!

So I hid one in my office in recieving, will pay for it Friday when I get paid.

Simply can't wait...I'm truly looking forward to owning this.
