"You may recognize some of these chemicals. Let's start with cyanide...The one the Aum Shinrikyo cult attempted to use to commit mass murder in a Tokyo subway in May 1995...The same cyanide produced routinely--1.4 million tons per year--for use in the production of plastics, adhesives, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and so on. It seems that those who put small amounts of cyanide in subways are terrorists. But those who produce it in mass quantities and contaminate broad reaches of soil, water, and air, killing countless living beings, are not terrorists, but rather capitalists, and are counted among the finest and most powerful people on the planet."

I found 90215 and Big Generator to be more accessable to my tastes, but I do like some of the old stuff. Got to see them at Madison Square Garden for free on the "90215 Tour". Awesome show! Awesome night!

Saw them at the Greek in '95 for the Talk tour. First thing I noticed that at 25, I was the youngest one there. The people I met there were cool enough but one asshole noticing my age piped up, "Shouldn't you be at a Guns N Roses concert?"
"No....because I know that Jon Anderson will actually show up for this," I replied.

Was a great show with no opener. Getting to see "An Evening with" any band you l happen to like a treat that comes around far too rarely. Just wish they would put out a DVD of that tour.....or even the Union tour.

I love Yes! I first got into them when I stole a a tape of Classic Yes from my friend's dad (sorry, Robbie! Actually...sorry, Ray). I took it because I liked the cover. When I got home I popped it in to listen to it and it was set right to the beginning of "Starship Trooper". I dug it...it was different. I recognized "Long Distance Runaround", "Roundabout", and "I've Seen All Good People" and realized I'd stolen a pretty good album.

I really like Yes. They're like a cross between Rush and Led Zeppelin. Close To The Edge was the first Yes album I got and it's my favorite. The Yes Album and Fragile are also amazing. Yessongs is a great live album.

They sound so great live. Songs like "Going For The One" and "Close To The Edge" are kickin' in concert.

Anyone have Trevor Rabin's solo album, Can't Look Away? If you like 90125 you'll love it.

Just picked up the remastered 90125. Sah-weet. Changes just booms now. Bitchin'. Although the two bonus tracks were obviously cut after the initial album, methinks, and the remix/acapella versions of It Can Happen and Owner were kinda weird.

    Yes kicks ass.

I have the two twelve inch singles with the dance mixes of "Owner Of A Lonely Heart" and "Leave It" (which they played before the concert), plus the remixed version and a capella versions of "Leave It". Also have a live version of "It Can Happen" from the 7" single. Amazon says "Cinema" on the remaster is live - it's not a different track than on the original album, is it?
