All I've heard is Rumours, and I wasn't too fond of it. Though that was a couple years ago, I think I should dig it out and give it another listen....
    "Suck a fat one, faggot."
-MikeL, showing off that sharp wit of his.

"You may recognize some of these chemicals. Let's start with cyanide...The one the Aum Shinrikyo cult attempted to use to commit mass murder in a Tokyo subway in May 1995...The same cyanide produced routinely--1.4 million tons per year--for use in the production of plastics, adhesives, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and so on. It seems that those who put small amounts of cyanide in subways are terrorists. But those who produce it in mass quantities and contaminate broad reaches of soil, water, and air, killing countless living beings, are not terrorists, but rather capitalists, and are counted among the finest and most powerful people on the planet."

-Derrick Jensen, "What We Leave Behind"

"You know what's weird to me is Christians who are against the death penalty. After all, if it weren't for the death penalty, we wouldn't celebrate Easter!"

    -the late, great, Bill Hicks

I like the album Rumours a lot. I also really like the song Everywhere and Say You Will from their latest album.

I still remember a time growing up when you couldn't turn on the radio without hearing them. I still dig all those old songs. "Sara" is damn nice to do the deed to!

I don't have a lot of sexual exploits to brag about, but I remember going at it for five hours one night with a motivated young lady while Fleetwood Mac's Greatest Hits was playing....over and over and over.......

LOL, or maybe she needed the ice for her head.

That band was all about sex anyway, I think they all "knew" each other rather well, or so legend has it.

Yeah, John McVie was bangin' Christine obviously and Stevie was doing both Mick and Lindsay. Shit, the roadies and the fans probably weren't doing as much fucking as the personnel themselves.

I've just been listening to them again lately. Really like The Chain, Go Your Own Way, and Dreams.

I'd like to hear Sammy duet with Stevie Nicks.

I love Fleetwood Mac.....Though I'm only familiar with the 1975-1987 version of the band (and the 1997-2004 era as well).

I think....as overplayed as Rumours may be its still an all time classic....and Tusk is just a fantastic record. The self-titled, Rumours, and Tusk are all classics....the other two from that era....are good but not quite as good as the these three. Lindsey is a fantastic guitarist. Very underrated.

and they do put on a good show. I saw them on tour last year.

    The legends endure don't they???

My fave album from them is simply called Fleetwood Mac, released back in 1975. Awesome album from start to finish.

Hearing the "rock temptress" Stevie Nicks dueting with Sammy would be interestin, to say the least. Her duets with Tom Petty and Don Henley were pretty good.

...so there I was, at TGI Fridays in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and there up on the wall is a lovely concert poster avertising a gig by Fleetwood Mac on November 11, 1970 in Nashville, Tennessee - with Rare Earth; Crosby Stills Nash & Young; Eric Clapton and at least one other band that escapes me at the moment - typical old-style concert promo poster - nothing out of the ordinary. Except that the band picture that accompanied the information included Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks! Now, Fleetwood Mac may very well have played a concert in Nashville on November 11, 1970, and those other bands may have very well have been on the bill, but there was no way that Buckingham & Nicks were appearing with the band in some sort of precursor to their actually joining the band almost 5 years later! Man, I hate fake memorabilia, only thing I hate more is people who peddle fake memorablilia.

The company simply had to be from Zephyrhills, FLORIDA.

That's pretty neat: The latest offering from the great "Time Traveler's Concert Series", brought to you by Samsonite and the United States Post Office.
