Default Voice vs Voice - Bach and Hagar

    Hey guys!

Let's leave frontman's skills, or who's a better party guy, or who is 'more legendary' then another, I'm just curious what do you think about Hagar's and Bach's voices, when compared?

I, personally, think that Sammy has by far higher voice. Firt of all, he sings the notes with a CHEST SOUND when Bach goes on FALSETTO! I can cover every Bach's song (not even close, but I can sing them), but with Sammy I leave my vox to rest - I can't hit 70% of notes, and Don't Tell Me high parts I can't reach at all.
Then, Sammy is IMO a better live singer. He covers all his and VH stuff note-by-note, when Bax acts just like Freddie did - goes down instead of up. If he would jump like Sam, he would barely speak after the show I guess.
Finally, while they all have their own trademarked vibes, I think Sammy's voice is more unique. I'm sure I'd reconize both from a train speaker, but nobody have sang like Sam, nobody does. When listening to Bach, I can't stop thinking of Gillan or Mercury.
Where I could rank Bax over Sammy is vocal's strength. He definately has more powerful voice, but that's it .

That's my opinion. What do you think, who is a better singer?

Bach for me, his voice is fantastic. Sam can get annoying at times, that squeel of his not something I'm a fan of.

Sammy destroys him! Bach screams way too much for me. I don't like his singing all the time, his voice doesn't sound as good on the really heavy songs as Sam does either.

    Bach for sure

Well wanted to add - Sammy is more versatile in singing. 'Rock the Nation' doesn't sound like 'Eagles Fly' which doesn't soung like 'Feeling' which doesn't sound like 'Karma Wheel'. Bach is plain in all his tunes - starts with a cutie Queen-like vocals, then goes to Heavy Metal screams. I doubt Bach would sound well on Can't Stop Lovin' You or Not Enough.
I also doubt he would be able to sing 'Salvation on a Sand Hill'.

I like Sammy better and would choose Sammy any day if I had to, but Bach has a stronger voice.

The guy is amazing. He is all over the place on the Subhuman Race album.....

When it comes to frontmen I'd rank Freddie Mercury, Robert Plant, Roger Daltrey, DLR, Mick Jagger and Jim Morrison, not necessarily in this order, on the top of the list.
You apparently missed the point of this thread.

And no, DLR wasn't a legendry frontman
