LZ II was the first album I truly LISTENED to, as opposed to just hearing the music play. I was drawn into the song structures, the instruments, the chemistry between band...each song was so powerful and not a note was out of place, just perfection.

I made the mistake of listening to this on repeat, with the headphones on. I can't find a place to disengage. I'll be here for awhile.

I hadn't seen this before. Interesting thoughts from a very young Page.

Went to see Led Zepagain this afternoon at the Santa Fe Springs Swap Meet. I left after the first set because it was too friggin' hot. It's still 87 degrees here right now at 3:48 pm on the 9th of November.

The band killed it on this one on the 3rd song ...

I went to see a Zep tribute band last decade. It was at an outdoor fair at the West End in Dallas. It was free once you got into the fair.
It was an afternoon show. What sucked was their sound mix. The bass was way way too loud. It rode over the guitar and the vocals. I've been to Zeppelin concerts, and they NEVER mixed their sound to have the bass ride over the guitar and the vocals. Yes, it was all very loud, but still the guitar and the vocals were on top of the bass and percussion. I've seen other bands have the wrong mix in concert. Filter - gave then two chances, and both time the bass rode over the guitar. you listen to their CD and that's not what is happening. I call it bait and switch. I guess some segment of drug users appreciates loud bass, for the sake of loud bass, even at the expense of the vocals and the guitar. So fuck'em.

You probably know this: 75-year old Page has a way younger female partner, 30-year old Scarlett.

Rumor has it she's never even heard of Led Zeppelin, but she can tell you anything and everything about Billie Eilish.

    75 is exactly 2-1/2 times more than 30 …

I was watching some Plant & Page YT videos from the late '90s...Plant sang "Shake My Tree?!" He sang Coverdale?! Holy shit! Never would've thought. That's as crazy as Dave singing Sammy.

Both times P&P came to Pittsburgh I missed them because had other major events going on those 2 dates. Two of my biggest regrets.

Kind of weird to think that he was 45 when she was born.....

He's always liked them young though.... Lori Maddox was 14 when her was banging her....
