    The Whitesnake thread!

I am a big Whitesnake fan. I own all of their albums. 1987 is my favorite, followed by Slip Of The Tongue. I saw them live in 2003, they were awesome! David Coverdale is amazing live, he really impressed me. I am hoping for a live Whitesnake DVD sometime in the future.

Was "Slip of the Tongue" the album with "Slow 'n Easy" on it? I dig that album... Not a huge fan of the rest of thier stuff though. I really like Blue Murder a lot though. Thier first album was kick-ass in my opinion!!! "Jelly Roll" and "Valley of the Kings" just rule!!!

I'm pretty sure "Slow n' Easy" is on "Slide It In", the album right before "Whitesnake" and all the hair glory that followed. The song "Slide It In" and "Love Ain't No Stranger" were jammin' as well.

Slip Of The Tongue is the album that Steve Vai played on, not that one.

I like Blue Murder too. Mainly for the guitar playing, John Sykes is great!

Big fan of Whitesnake myself, but mostly because of Adrian Vandenberg's guitar work. It's ashame he came down with that hand condition, but I still love Vai's playing on Slip Of The Tongue. Adrian rips it up on Bad Boys though, which is probably my favorite Whitesnake tune.

I'm a fan as well but I only own a couple of albums. I also have 2 loose tracks: All The Time in the World and As Long As I Have You that I believe I got directly from the Whitesnake website. Are they actual Whitesnake tracks or Coverdale solo songs? What album are they from? They're both fairly bluesy. I'd like to hear the rest of the album(s) that they're on...

I love all of Whitesnake's albums, but I prefer their earlier stuff. Albums like "Lovehunter", "Ready An' Willing" & "Slide It In" are awesome. I like the three studio sets Coverdale did with Deep Purple too...

Well, if you really like Bad Boys, then you actually like John Sykes, cuz he's the one who played on that tune. Not Adrian. www.johnsykes.com

I can see why you got them confused Sucka.

Adrian does the guitar solo for Here I Go Again. He also did the 1987 tour and he is playing on all the 1987 Whitesnake videos, because John Sykes left the band before they toured.

Sykes and Coverdale don't like each other. Coverdale tried to get him back in Whitesnake a few times, and John refused.

I think that As Long As I Have You was supposed to be on Coverdales solo album Into The Light. The best song from that album in The River Song!! That is one of the greatest songs ever imo.
