30 minute setlist for a show this weekend. Pretty stoked. Most of the cool tracks without having to slog through my lesser faves, hahaha.

A few months ago, our band was lucky enough to be invited into Mesa (Ariz.) Community College to record three tunes. A buddy of our drummer is a music student there and mixing multiple tracks was part of an assignment for him.

Here's my favorite of the three. If interested, you can hit is SoundCloud page to download any of them for free.

    Enjoy!

    Default V-TWIN webcast TONIGHT!

    ...kinda stoked about this:

If you've got nothing better to do tonight (11/09), my band V-TWIN will be participating in our FIRST EVER WEBCAST. Our first set (18 songs) will be broadcast from roughly 10:30pm-12am.

I don't know all the details (our opening band is bringing this to the table for us), but the link and instructions are pasted below.

So, if you're bored, drunk, stuck at home, or all three later tonight, and you want to check out a shitty little bar band in a shitty little Midwestern dive bar, you now have the opportunity to join us cyberly.

Duggan's Pub is one of our favorite Lincoln venues, and we're set to have a blast tonight playing a ton of classic and modern rock, and it will be interesting to see how this little webcast turns out.

    Link and instructions:

Here is the link to the Livestream channel for the live broadcasts: https://new.livestream.com/accounts/...events/2522550
you will need to sign up for an account and follow me (Lance Clark), not Punching Puppets. From there, you will get notifications when we broadcast.

I used to live there but was too young to get into bars.
This could be my chance to see the inside of a Lincoln bar!!!

Well, not my band (those last tapes we made 10+ years ago and that were actually played on local radio stations still make me chuckle), but I got to know a very nice and capable musician whom I hooked up with before/during/after an Extreme concert here in Germany.

Ivan recently finished his first album, which can be listened to here:
    https://romano.bandcamp.com/

Very capable musician, who wrote all tracks, played all instruments and recorded all vocals on them. He is a Mr. Big and Extreme fan, which does show. The tracks are somewhat on the mellow side. If you want to listen to two tracks, I would recommend the last two "Stop 'n Listen" and "Naima", which show both sides the album has to offer.

Thought I would pass the word for this great guy I was lucky enough to meet.

I picked up a Montrose meets Van Hagar era vibe in this song.
'Old Van Halen, when I was in it-classic Van Halen-makes you wanna drink, dance and screw, right? And the new Van Halen encourages you to drink milk, drive a Nissan and have a relationship.' - David Lee Roth.

There is going to be a local production, kind of a "history of music" thing in which cover songs are done by certain local bands in a kind of timeline fashion.

I am in the running for being Johnny Cash, I should know within a few days. I think the Johnny Cash song they are wanting to do isn't a true Johnny Cash song, it's the Walk the Line Revisited Version which is done by Johnny Cash and Rodney Crowell (below in case you have never heard it), I think they are wanting to show how Johnny Cash resonated with following generations of country stars, but whatever, any chance to get up and sing Johnny Cash front of a crowd I am all for it.

Will let you donkeys know if I get it.

If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

Hurricane Halen - Let's all gingery touch our sword tips!!!

Default C'mon Boys, Submit Your Audition Tapes!!!!

Bon Jovi is accepting applications for their opening act on their upcoming tour.

C'mon, practice up ladies, though, I don't think any of you have a chance in hell against my band comprised of accountants and computer geeks.
