    Hey Sacto,

How do you dig the Cyber Twin? I killed some time in Guitar Center the other day checking one out, and I've gotta say, I was impressed. My first Strat was shipped to me while I've been in Texas, and am possibly considering a new amp to put her through (Not too crazy about going through the 5150 with a Strat, but may have to use the Valvestate or an RP7 for a while). Some of the VH sounds sounded pretty damn good too I've gotta admit. The motorized knobs are a trip. I think the tubes lended a more organic sound than just a straight modeling amp.

The Twin is pretty versatile. I like it. Good clean sounds...good distortions and a wild Hendrix channel...There are more presets than I will ever use, but it's a cool amp. The built-in tuner is a nice feature, as well...

not that you asked my opinion, but i think the cyber twin is great. I have been using it for the past year plus. The tape echo is very authentic and the distortions are great.

It is alot of cash, but well worth it.

Sacto, I didn't know you had a Cyber-Twin. Glad to hear you like it. I played through one of the new SE models at work and was extremely impressed with it. For those considering one, they are well worth the cash as Neuroop said.

OK, let's see if I can make heads and tails of my pics here.

This first one is my American Strat (~92, if I remember right). It was originally Lake Placid metallic blue. The color wasn't "me" at all, so I decided this past year to refinish it at home and shit. The pickguard is self-made as well. It will soon have the EMG's I put in years ago replaced with some Texas Special pups.

Also in the pic, my '74 Marshall Plexi with the original Celestion greenbacks still kickin' in the speaker cab :

    Here's a close-up :

    My gear, Part II :

My "former" Charvel Model 2, started as a Frankie-propject a few years ago, but still-as-of-yet-unfinished (I'll get a hockey-stick maple neck one of these days) :

For the record, I originally started to do the Black and Yellow EVH jopb on the Charvel first, before I did the Frankie paint. Here's what it looked like in progress then :

    Dean Edge 1 bass :

Gear not shown - My rack is currently comprised of a Monster Power 2500 unit, Chandler Tube Driver, BBE 401, and an ART SGE Mach II multi-effects. Also on the floor are an original Crybaby, MXR Flanger, MXR Phase 90, and a Heil talkbox.
