Kitchen tip-I just learned of this somehow.but on tinfoil I'm sure everyone has fought with the roll coming out the carton, pulled way to much or falling on the floor and you have like two feet of tinfoil to try and wrap back around the roll, and it turns into a mess you want to throw out
So on each side of the container there's a tab that you punch in that holds the damn thing in. Gone my whole life not knowing this..surely not the only one
    Dealing with it.

Do you know that you need to brush your teeth every day? Just checking.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

Sweet thing is horsey and her initial sense is that as horses are bred to be faster and faster the bones just can’t keep up with the muscles. As to why 22 at this track since December, no idea.

The breeding issue has been going on for decades, and it's a shame

In my younger days I loved horse racing. But Ruffian cured me of that and Barbaro broke my heart. I am a donor to the Exceller fund which tries to save these beautiful creatures from ending up at the slaughter house like Exceller and the amazing Ferdinand who won the 1986 Kentucky Derby but ended up in a slaughterhouse.

So many people in horseracing have their priorities on money. The track banned many medications that owners were using to push these animals to run thru injuries and have limited the use of whips ( which I believe should be banned completely)

There is a presumption that it has do with track conditions from all the rain, but some disagree

It's not one or two trainers either...it's like each horse had a different trainer. Some horses were young and inexperienced, some were seasoned.

It's just crazy. But I think that they have to shut that track down completely including for training until they figure this out.

There is definitely something new and different going on with the track this year that for whatever reasons, they can't or won't get a true handle on. It's likely due to the high amount of rain so far this year but we've had similar seasons of comparatively heavy rain every 5 or so years that hasn't resulted in such a high number of horses being affected.

I saved $4 on the entry fee to my daughter's track meet earlier today by virtue of being 55 years old. Yay …

Valid theory as any. Tragic situation. Lots of horses having to be put down.

Shit, with all the time and money my dad shelled out for me to play basketball he would have thrown a fit if they charged him to get into my games.
