The only fish I really like is shellfish, specifically shrimp, lobster and scallops.

Tuna tacos (seared ahi) are ridiculously good. There is possibly no greater double entendre in the Spanglish language either.

I like shrimp a lot. Can't stand lobster, crab, etc.
    Weird, I know.

I can eat my weight in shrimp, crab, lobster, scallops, you name it. No oysters though. Iíve had them twice in 49 years and both times found myself with simultaneous puke and diarrhea for hours on end. Thank goodness the tub was next to the toilet. Lost 12# in 6 hrs last time probably 20 years ago. Never again.

I've never had an oyster or scallop. Only had lobster once and it was from a Sizzler I think. (I thought this was supposed to be mouthwatering?) I wasnt impressed because all my life, lobster had been spoken as if God was the chef making it himself.

    Tough and dry.

Scallops are delicious when they are seared very quickly on both sides in a scalding hot pan.

Once both sides are browned... take 'em out. Don't want to over cook them or they get rubbery. Done right... melt in your mouth tender and orgasmic.

The only way I'll eat them. Actually the only way I know how to prepare them.

I do find them very, very rich though... so can only eat about 5 or 6 of the sea scallops... 15 to 20 of the bays.

It's that time of year. My sister will be coming home for holidays with a shit load of scallops from Costco... the BIG ass ones.

She loves the damn things but will only eat them in a restaurant or when I make them for her. She's a horrible cook... and her last name IS Cook. Lol!

Are scallops "fishy" tasting? They do look good. For some reason I'm thinking garlickey.

No. Very rich but they have their own taste. Pan seared sea scallops are better with drawn butter imo. Fry the bay scallops & serve with tartar or cocktail sauce.
