I can't see them carrying this out world-wide without Van Halen.
Its only a matter of time when things blow-up.
If they went overseas, they'd both probably end up in some Turkish prison.

Plus Sammy has the Planet Us project this fall if something else with a certain band doesn't take place.
And I think that Dave will ride this summer's momentum and put out a new album and go back on the road alone and try to latch up a young "can't miss" band to tour with.

Don't be surprised if Dave hits Europe, Japan, and Australia. With or without Sam.

I sure wouldn't be surprised at all.
The Japanese LOVE Dave and his act. He will make alot of $$$$ over there.

Russia would be a cool place for Dave to take his Van Halen Tribute band to. They missed alot during the cold war, and to see Dave even without Van Halen would be huge there as well.

Yes, I call it a VH tribute band because thats what it really is.
The original singer, playing 99% VH tunes because thats what he says the fans want. He gets himself a guitarist that spent years immitating Eddie Van Halen.
If thats what Dave wants to do, cool. But its not and never will be Van Halen.

Much like if Ozzy went out and ONLY played Sabbath tunes, it would be a Black Sabbath cover band.

What do think of Sammy and his tribute band???

Isn't it really an Ozzy/Sabbath tribute band????

Mike Bordin and Robert Trujillo didn't play on all of those albums...(only the new one...what like 1 out of 20 albums???)

Read the Ralph Saenz interview. They are going to Europe and Japan...

They won't come down here. Sams never been intrested in our market, Dave hasn't bothered to come down since 88.

And the current exchange rate makes it hard for an overseas tour to profit. They dont have the pulling power to get a payday down here.

I also don`t think that they are coming over here. I mean, summer is over and there were some big rock festivals which draw about 80.000 people. They sure would`ve loved to play there, but if they are coming in the winter time and are on there own, i doubt they would get more than 4.000. No way they would do this.
Even VH didn`t get more than 10.000 people at their European Shows in `93.

They don't have to play huge festivals in Europe, 4000 people is still alot. Besides maybe DLR will tour there in the Fall???

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em. -
